FluentCommunity 1.0.77 Release - BIG Update 🎉
We just released another BIG update of FluentCommunity Plugin (1.0.77). Most probably, this is the last beta release as the team is planning to release the final version in the next few days.
What's New & Exciting:
- New Customization Settings: Now you can customize various UI elements from Settings -> Customizations
- RTL Ready (Beta): FluentCommunity Plugin is now RTL-Ready. This is the very first version of this implementation so please do report the issues if you find any UI issues.
- Mobile UI Improvements: We have worked on almost all the elements to make it mobile-friendly. I am sure there has room to improve and the team is on it. Thank you so much for continuously giving us feedback.
- New Post Layout: You can now enable modern post layout UI from Settings -> Customizations which will make the posts more appealing when you have an image or video.
- Notification Improvements: Notifications will work more fluently and you can now filter mentions/followings.
- Optional Credit Link: Now you can disable the powered-by link from settings or add your affiliate ID and show us some love.
- Slug Issues Resolved: All the slug-related issues have been resolved.
- FluentCRM Automation: Now you can run an automation when a user upgrades to a new level. Using this, you can manage course/space accesses based on the user levels.
- FluentCRM Bulk Actions: By the way, you can filter contacts based on course/space memberships, select all, and add to another space or course. Even you can send email campaigns by targeting specific spaces or course users.
- Translation Ready: We think, we covered 99% of the strings for translation. If we miss any please let me know.
Launch Plan:
We plan to release an exclusive Lifetime deal (Very Limited) for the beta users first in the next couple of days. After that, we will launch it to the public at a higher price point.

Shahjahan Jewel, I am not worry at all and I can transfer my likes if needed. I hope everyone will get level 10 if this is someones dream (just use likes - there are no limits for spreading love and positive energy).
I think for regular users it might be nice to exclude elevated users but also to to keep the community leaderboard live to have the option to select the last 12 month data so nobody will be permanent leader etc (and it will be end-less game).
Mat ., Yes I was thinking about some rule configurations like excluding admin / mods. Or calculate only the last 12 months for all time board.

@patrick2, In the upper right, choose your profile pic, then click your name on the dropdown menu. To the left of the "Edit Profile" button you will see "Notification Settings." hth 😎
Sheryl Coe, The question is whether a user in a FluentCommunity has the option to close his profile. This should be an option (I'm just thinking about the emails I'll get instead of the user just closing it himself).

Thanks for the update. Will it be possible to replace LearnDash courses with this plugin? And will this plugin integrate with other CRMs? (Specifically Autonami?)
Working with LifterLMS would be awesome. It's good to have your own simple course option but if you integrate with packages like LearnDash we could immediately put this to use in those communities.

Sella Yoffe, You probably have to set the Community itself to be RTL. But I didn't see that in the settings.
Assaf Manor & Sella Yoffe If your site language is RTL then the RTL mode will automatically enabled for FluentCommunity.

By the way, you can enable rtl mode manually by adding this PHP snippet:

It's now possible to change "Spaces" to "Groups" and "My Spaces" to "My Groups", which is great, but there are still many areas where Spaces or Space seems to be hardcoded. Any way to be able to change this?

Shahjahan Jewel Quick question, how do we create links similar to the product links that appear to the left side here, in the "Product Links" group? I've tried creating a bogus course with a link assigned to that course, but it's still the course, not the link, that appears in the group. Thanks!
To answer my own question in case others wonder, this is in the settings/menu settings/sidebar bottom links.
Also a feature request: Please could we have an option to disable the "Courses" tab entirely, if we're using Learndash for our courses and product links to direct users to them? Thanks!
Emmanuel Oberg, Yes sure. You can disable the course menu from settings and even you can disable the entire course module from the Settings -> Features & Addons

Shahjahan Jewel, great, a minor display bug, if you look closely, the group titles are not aligned with the link groups. For example, "Product Links" on the left here are slightly to the left on "Product Discussions". You can see that for example "Product" doesn't start below the FluentCRM icon, but slightly to the left of it. The icons are aligned though. For some reason, this is a lot more visible if you only have one space group and many links groups.

Shahjahan Jewel It's not true that 99% of the strings are translatable. There are a lot of strings that are not translatable. I've created a post that summarizes a lot of them, but it seems that no one looked at it, and that's a shame.

Does the FluentCommunity now work with multisite? (both subdomain and subdirectories). I tested some time ago and it didn't, and you replied it would soon. I tested again with the new version and it doesn't work. The fatal error tells me the table doesn't exist.

Sharing my feedback:
- New Customization Settings - pretty cool!
- Search filter in the popup window is promissing.
- Mobile UI Improvements - still there are some elements to be mobile friendly. Lot of them I have shared under the last plugin update and the previous one (ex. User Profil Posts lazy load vs Pagination, ) but I know you are working on many fixes.
- New Post Layout - very nice positive surprise!
- Notification Improvements: filtering mentions/followings will be handy.
- Optional Credit Link: Yuppi! Nice!
Other new findings/suggestions list:

Missing button to remove the Custom Group link - Left sidebar Bottom Link Groups. We can delete it by clearing up the Custom Bottom Group name and Save.

Left sidebar Menu Groups could have icons too (not only Spaces have icons)
In case the element inside the group dont have icon the icon could be inherited from the parent Group. Group icons will be also needed if the left sidebar will be minimized at some point of time.

if the Global Post Status is disabled then the Posting in: dropdown list should be hidden in the Feed for regular users but visible for Admin as the Admin can post anywhere.
Currently the dropdown is visible for Regular User and its empty - this might be confusing for users.

We could have a background or regular image for the Portal Wide Notice - it is hard to adjust \<img tag with width=100% for that Notice placeholer (not the entire screen).
If we could have background image size automaticaly adjusted to the Wide Notice container it could be beneficial when the Admin just want to submit an image. In this case Admin could enable parallax/fixed/carousel scrolling effect for that container.
This Wide Notice could be also sticky (enabled/disabled by Admin)
This container could have animation feature enabled/disabled so users can notice this.

We could have a floating button or added icon to the bottom menu (Mobile view): Add a New Post in Spaces/Feed so we dont need to scroll to the top (expecially on mobile) when we are below the fold. In addition we could have also Icon: Move to the Top icon when user scroll the screen down a lot -i. This way we could utilized the mobile bottom menu (6 icons vs current 4 icons)
In the last comment under each post we could have an icon: Arrow Up to go to the Orginal/Primary Post (the arrow up icon could be located under the empty space under the user profile picture in the last comment to the original post) and in the Original post we could have icon: Arrow Down to go to the Last or Best (post author could select the Best answer/comment - or even Pin it as a First Comment under the post) Comment in the thread.

We could have the ability to assign custom badges to Users Roles (Member, Moderator, Admin) and Community Roles (Space Admin, Space Moderator, Course Admin, Course Creator).
Note: There is a different role naming convention for a New User Invitation process vs Portal Settings > Managers (assigining a Community Role). Either they are separated roles or they need to be unified in naming.

When adding Portal Manager (+Add Manager button) the popup should disappear when clicking outside the popup area.
When adding Custom Link in the Portal Settings the right panel (Add Custom Link) should be closed when clicking outside the right panel area (and it means that action has been canceled).

When using FluentAuth plugin with 2FA enabled it is not still working when logging via the custom login form:

Maybe it would be good to validate all custom links fields with regex or have a predefined additional but obligatory dropdown list so links need to have prefix: http/https/mailto:/tel: or starts with the slash /folder/path
Note: when users insert link into the post/comment in the popular bubble there should be space character removal automatically in the url but also verification in the link has only the prefix / or http/https/mailto/tel

Still my last name (dot) is coming back here if I keep the empty field for LastName. I am not sure if this is related to your updates or there is some other ongoing trick so the Last Name field is being overwritten with previous value "."

When a community has its own Roadmap there should be automatic notification (auto-post) for submitting new ideas so everybody can see the new entry in fCommunity channel too. Admin could specify which channel will receive those notifications from the Roadmap. Auto post could include a link to the Roadmap entry so users can visit that idea and vote fast.

When there is a private message sent to the user there could be a ring tone/bip implemented so the user will notice that new Chat message fast - ring tone could be enabled/disabled by Admin but also user could specify the preference (especially when mobile phone is on mute)
