In the frontend URLs, FluentCommunity currently uses Fluent-branded slugs such as:

/fluent-player-media/

/fluent-playlist/

Because these URLs are visible to end users, they expose the Fluent branding rather than the branding of the website or community using the plugin.

Is there currently a way to change, customise, or completely remove these slugs?

Ideally, administrators should be able to define their own frontend URL structure, for example:

/media/

/playlist/

or another custom slug relevant to their own brand.
If this is not currently possible, could this be added as a setting?

I’d like to report a few issues and potential improvements regarding the mobile experience with FluentPlayer.

1.Player controls are too small on mobile

Currently, the play button and other player controls appear quite small on mobile devices, especially when compared to other players such as Bunny.net’s native player.

Making these elements larger and more touch-friendly would significantly improve usability on mobile.

Removing the 10-second forward/backward controls doesn’t seem to increase the size of the remaining elements either, so it doesn’t really solve the issue.

2.Uneven lateral padding in FluentCommunity lessons

I’ve also noticed that, within FluentCommunity lessons, the lateral padding around the player seems uneven. There is noticeably more space on one side than on the other.

It would be great if the player could be properly centered and use the available mobile width consistently.

3.Fullscreen → portrait mode breaks the page

There also seems to be an issue when using fullscreen mode on mobile.

If you open a video in fullscreen, rotate the device to watch it in landscape mode, and then rotate it back to portrait / exit fullscreen, the FluentCommunity lesson page layout breaks.

This is probably the most important issue, as it directly affects the viewing experience and requires the user to recover from a broken page layout.

Overall, I think FluentPlayer could benefit from some additional mobile optimization. The player itself works great, but improving these details would make the experience feel much more polished and native on mobile devices. 😄

FluentPlayer is amazing. The improved integration with Vimeo is great.

Do you have any plans to also add Vimeo’s Transcript function that can display the videos transcript next to the video on desktop and over the video in mobile?

Or maybe FluentPlayer might add their own display transcript function, where the transcript is based on an attached caption file?

Adding new videos to FluentPlayer is very slow

You have to click the "Add Media" button and add the videos manually one by one, which is incredibly slow if you have more than a few dozen videos.

Is there any way to add multiple videos at once from the media library’s main page? Obviously, in most cases, only the video link itself changes—you’d just need to enter that link, say, 10 times, and then ten videos would be added at once. But this way, it’s incredibly slow, and it’s easier to use something like BunnyStream.

I have an audio player in mind that shows a waveform and is placed at the bottom of the page, just like players on the abovementioned sites. Something that survives the loading of another page. Something that accepts an audio-stream from any standard source. Anyone keen to see that?

Add a Duplicate Media feature so we don’t have to configure each media item from scratch.

When duplicating a media item, it should copy all of its existing settings and configuration into a new item, which can then be edited as needed.

If you visit a link to FC from X/Twitter mobile app interface, FluentPlayer does not load videos.

It would be amazing to get a sleep timer in Fluent Player. I’d want it to have varying durations like Youtube does—but properly fade the audio toward the last minute so as not to abruptly cut out sound.

Hi. The new update to FluentPlayer is great.

Currently, Chapters Inline Scroll is not displaying for me in FluentCommunity Lesson. There is a blank gap where the Inline Scroll chapter selection area should be.

It is displaying and working ok on my normal Bricks website pages.

The new audio upload module that was introduced seems to work by recording or creating the audio first and then uploading the audio file to the platform.

I can see how this could be useful for podcasts, voice lessons, or other audio content. But I’m struggling to understand the value of hosting the audio directly on my own storage.

Why would I use my server/storage and bandwidth for audio files when I can upload the same content to YouTube or another free hosting platform and simply embed it in FluentCommunity?

What is the main advantage of using the native audio upload feature instead of externally hosting and embedding the content?
