LiteSpeed Cache + FluentPlayer Error on Mobile
Why won't the player load when the cache is enabled? I don't want to exclude the entire sales page from the cache. How can I exclude just the player?
Not sure if this will help, but one of the best decisions I made since I started using Fluent plugins was moving from LiteSpeed + LSCache to NGINX.
In my case, caching is now handled mostly at server level on NGINX, with Redis for object caching, so I don't need to rely on a heavy WordPress caching.
Of course, this is just my personal experience, and I'm not saying LiteSpeed is incompatible with Fluent (used to work fine when properly set). But since the switch, I haven't had any cache-related issues with Fluent plugins at all.
I vaguely remember the Fluent team mentioning that they primarily work with NGINX as well, although I may be mistaken. I remember it was definitely a subtle recommendation for fluent community (when all of us were asking for server specs).
It definitely sounds like a lot of trouble just to test it π But maybe someday it could be worth trying and check if you can save some precious time managing this at a server level.
Having to constantly check exclusions and cache settings in LiteSpeed can become a bit of a nightmare sometimes.
I'm using LiteSpeed Cache + FluentPlayer as well and I'm not having this issue. Maybe a setting in your LiteSpeed Cache? Do you see any specific error in the browser console?
Did you tried excluding the fluent player assets path?
