Hi FluentCommunity team,

I have been looking for a way to change the lesson order, but I cannot find a simple solution.

At the moment, lessons are added in chronological order, with the oldest lesson at the top and the newest at the bottom. I understand that lessons can be reordered manually, but since we upload lessons programmatically, it would be very useful for us to have new lessons appear at the top of the list by default.

Is there a way to do this?

Why does the entire post shake when I update it? I thought this indicated an issue with the post? It would be better if the post turned a different color like a light green temporarily to indicate that it was updated. I know there's a slide in message that mentions the post was updated but the shaking is kind off odd.

• Layout of topics

Right now topics in Spaces are ordered horizontally with a progression bar underneath. I find that it's not user-friendly since you can't see all the topics at first glance.

• Topics categories

I would also like categories and subcategories of topics, so that they are easier to find and navigate

I have just assigned my Moderator roles.

However, I've run into an issue: every time a moderator creates a post, the entire community receives a notification. My moderators would prefer to post quietly without alerting everyone every time.

Where the setting is to disable that? Thanks in advance!

I noticed that when you click a topic/tag like for example 'bug report' then switch back to 'All' it doesn't change the url parameter. Hence when you then refresh the page it goes back to the 'bug report' even though visually and functionally you where on the 'all'.

Not the biggest bug ever, but a bit annoying sometimes.

Hi everyone, is there a good way to insert a PDF into a fluentcommunity course lesson? I tried embedpress, but the "document" option does not show in the shortcode section. I searched here already, but I could not find a solution.

Been watching Lazy Coders and what they have going with Appza and of course Fluent Community Mobile.

But here's the thing and there's no getting around it: If WPMN is working on their own solution, it's gonna smoke everyone else. Nothing against Lazy Coders in any shape or form. I've just never witnessed a WordPress company like WPMN.

So with that, I don't want to spend time on something if WPMN has it in process. I've read rumors that WPMN is working on something, but can anyone verify?

So, as a service provider, I also offer website design & development services. And in the process of building my own community with FC Pro, I've learned a lot of things already. If I want to promote FluentCommunity to my clients (as a development service), how does that work?

I mean, things like ownership transfer? I tried to understand it using Gemini, and this was the response (see the image). Not sure if that's accurate!?!

My biggest question is: Why would a client purchase an LTD license from me if I can't transfer the ownership to them?

I want the weekly digest enabled, however when doing so it automatically opts all users in (in breach of multiple SPAM laws). I want it enabled and then allow users to opt in. How do I set the default one enabled to OPT OUT

I have been annoyed with the look of FluentCommunity topics and comments for a while. Made multiple posts about it but never really got any answer from any of the Ninja's.

My main issue with the current setup is that it's really busy and when there are a lot of comments it's so hard to know what you have read and what you haven't read. Especially with all the sub comments.

So instead of waiting I have spend 4 hours with Claude trying to build a prototype. Hoping to hype up this community and Shahjahan Jewel for adding this as an alternative theme to the current "facebook" style theme.

I took a huge influence from NodeBB as I really like their style. But hate their integration into wordpress.

So I started stripping all containers, allowing for a more dedicated opening post (OP: original poster)

As you can notice I also moved all the reply, like, bookmark etc to the side for a more clean look and giving the content of the topic the room it deserves.

Secondly I have added a accordion to the child comments on a comment, which is

But I still wanted to see those replies in the main feed for an overall idea of the topic conversation. So a comment made later to the "pet" reply still can be seen, but for the full logical conversation you can click on it and you get send to the sub comments.

Then one of the most important addons is the Read Position bar, which shows exactly how many comments there are, where they are and how much time there is in between them. This way it is so so so much easier to get back into a topic and get back to where you left of.

You can see the video for some more context. All with all I'm quite happy with it. Need to do some stress testing, as there is a lot of workarounds needed since Fluentscommunity code isn't that open. But like I said I really hope this would become an reality as a second theme within the core fluentcommunity.
