This one's been in the works for a while. A lot of you asked for more control over member profiles, better ways to manage course data, and a tighter connection with FluentCRM. We heard you.
β‘οΈ Introducing Custom Profile Fields β¨
Create your own profile fields: text, dropdowns, dates, URLs, and more. Group them into sections, set visibility controls (public, members-only, admin-only), and build member profiles that actually reflect your community.
β‘οΈ Send Community Messages from FluentCRM Automation
Trigger personalized inbox messages inside your community directly from FluentCRM automations. Onboarding, follow-ups, announcements, all automated.
β‘οΈ Search Your Followers & Following
Real-time search and sort (Most Recent, A-Z, Z-A) on your Followers and Following tabs. No more endless scrolling.
β‘οΈTime Format Syncs with WordPress
Set it once in WordPress Settings, and FluentCommunity follows automatically. 12h or 24h, for the messaging.
β‘οΈ CSV Export for Courses & Quiz Results π
Export enrollment data and quiz scores as CSV files. Perfect for reporting, tracking engagement, or sharing with your team.
β‘οΈ Bug Fixes
Fixed cart checkout, login redirects, BuddyBoss migration, YouTube Shorts, Vimeo URLs, dark mode contrast for FluentPlayer, Twitter link previews, and more.
As always, we'd love to hear your feedback. Drop your thoughts in the comments below or start a discussion in the community. Your input is what shapes every release.
Let's keep building! πͺ

I see that cover photos look really nice on new posts, but older posts with images do not show as cover photos. Any way to get that fixed without me having to create all new posts? Am I missing a setting?
On my membership site, simple "logged in users" are free members.
The Community is for paid members.
Logged in users can visit The Community, but, they shouldn't be able to post anywhere - NOT EVEN TO THE FEED.
In conclusion - why not control posting permissions to The Feed with Tags or Settings?
Honestly, I've said this before: one of the most challenging parts of building with FluentCommunity is maintaining consistent branding throughout the website. I'm using a custom color scheme and have already implemented several custom code snippets to fix the color scheme issues.
And it just keeps appearing as I build further. π₯Ίπ
Now, as I'm trying to set up Google login (on a custom page to avoid "wp-login" in URL) using the FluentAuth shortcode, the input text becomes illegible as it doesn't sync with the Blocksy theme's global color palette. [Tried using different custom code snippets and raised a ticket for this, but I'm not sure if there'll be any solution for this.]
At this point, I'd say I'm okay if you do not release any further features, but fix the theme/color customization first β because it's one of the most important aspects of the community's branding. Just another request! π
How long did it take for your FC URLS to index?
my articles index within an 1-2 hours, however, I turned on my FC, sent to sitemap, and hours later, still nothing indexed on FC side.
Did I miss an SEO option or something?
Thank-You
So, I currently own a "Single Site Annual License" and was looking to upgrade to the "Single Site Lifetime License".
But then, I'm also thinking of "5 Sites Lifetime License" because I'm interested in offering FC community development services. Side note: I'm running a service business, and web design & development (Shopify & WordPress) is one of my services.
However, I think the right approach would be to go for "Single Site Lifetime License" for now β and purchase "5 Sites Lifetime License" only after I get my first client for this particular service.
So, for those who are like me, I'm curious to know how they approached this!
Does anyone else find you get confused about whether you are looking at a message you sent or received based on the alignment? Every other chat service I use shows my sent messages floated to the right and received floated to the left but the FluentCommunity Chat is the opposite! Are there any known quick fixes for this? Can the developers change this or make it an option in settings?
I have an FC license key through a 3rd party, even though the key is showing valid, I have no recent updates regarding FC. whats up with this?
thank-you
Hey everyone,
I run a paid online academy with 400+ course lessons, all currently using Bunny Stream with Presto Player and the following security setup:
- CDN Token Authentication enabled
- Block direct URL file access enabled
- Allowed domains restricted to my domain only
This setup has been working well. Now with FluentPlayer available, I'm considering whether to switch to it for course content.
Two questions:
-
Does FluentPlayer support Bunny Stream's CDN Token Authentication? same way Presto Player does?
-
If I enable MediaCage Basic DRM on my Bunny Stream library, will FluentPlayer still be able to play the videos? Or does DRM restrict playback to Bunny's own embedded player only?
More broadly β for those of you running paid communities or online courses with Bunny Stream, how are you handling video security? Are you using Bunny's embed directly, or a custom player? And how are you maintaining solid protection?
And if you've run into these security limitations with FluentPlayer or any other custom player β how did you work around them?
Would love to hear how others are approaching this.
We do have a daily news blog on our website and out of this news we send out a weekly email newsletter through FluentCRM. It is open for everyone for free. My idea is to put the news into the community, to get more people into the community. People could sign up for free.
Is this useful and possible. What do you think about this idea?
