I know that WP mastery comes with a learning curve, but this is where I draw the line ^^' I have been STRUGGLING to make the most basic page, such as a welcome page. I've tried to make a blog page. I have attempted to draft a login/sign up page to play around with FluentCart, CRM and Forms. I have spent hours upon hours on this. Today alone I have spent 2 hours in vain.
Downloaded Elementor. I use FC widgets.
Writing a page is always buggy and alarmingly complex. Why couldn't we write our pages from within the community? After all, we can create spaces from within the portal, so why not pages to which we could add Fluent products' shortcodes? (or better yet, add the products even more natively) Is that not technically doable? Why do we have to deal with WP's ancestral blogging system instead of having an easier alternative on FC's plugin, which is a portal in itself?
It's quite disheartening to spend all my spare time trying to tweak my community just because I'm not enough technical savvy...
Hi people, I'm trying to put a Fluent Form into a lesson in a FluentCommunity course, but it falls apart and lose almost all formatting.
I tried with the form's shortcode, because couldn't find a proper block in the course editor.
Have you ever managed to solve this somehow?
Thank you π€π€
What's the fastest, simplest way to sell memberships of a community for just courses, with the control of the community being a monthly subscription product?
Minimum viable plugin set....
Iβve had a few users post content not relevant to a space, as admin Iβve edited the post and moved it to their wall however the topic they selected is still showing on post? This should be removed too
I hate Facebook. Sometimes I toy with the idea of launching a "local" community using FC, and hopefully bring people over from Facebook over time. I'd love to hear feedback on this? Have you tried it before?
Is anyone using a shared hosting for their community? How's performance? What shared hosting provider do you recommend for a small community?
Hi! I'd like to know if you were going to let us customise e-mails that are automatically sent :
- weekly recap (option within the portal itself)
- password setup page upon registration (fluentauth)
- [edit] announcement e-mail to space members (option when writing a new post)
It would be nice to be able to copy paste a HTML page as a template. Thanks for your feedback on that!
Hello everyone,
Iβm using FluentCommunity and would like my community members to receive push notifications on their phones when there is new activity inside the community, especially when I publish a new post, announcement, comment, mention, or reply.
I do not want to rely on email notifications. I want members to receive notifications even when they are not currently browsing the community, preferably through the PWA or browser push notifications.
However, I previously installed a self-hosted push notification plugin, and my hosting provider asked me to remove it because it was affecting the server resources.
Could you please advise me on the best solution that:
- Works well with FluentCommunity
- Sends web or PWA push notifications
- Can prioritize posts and activity from the community admin
- Does not send an email at the same time
- Uses an external notification service so it does not put heavy load on my server
- Opens the relevant post or comment when the member clicks the notification
Is there an official FluentCommunity solution, recommended integration, webhook, or API connection with a service such as OneSignal?
Thank you.
Kindly include a shortcode for fluent community portal, some of us would really wish the website header to remain visible even when logged in the portal
Currently, the ranking includes reactions to usersβ own posts and comments, which may lead to manipulation of the ranking.
