Hi everyone! I'm trying to set up a Zoom event, here in FluentBooking. I've watched several videos and still can't seem to figure it out or what I could be doing wrong, help please.
I have a booking calendar embedded into a custom form (all Fluent obvs). It works great! My question: is it possible (with or without custom coding) to add emails gathered in the form to the native booking notifications?
I see how to add additional guest fields in FluentBooking - but I don't see how to surface those fields in FluentForms or how to connect FF fields to additional guest fields on the backend.
Alternatively, this site also has FluentCRM Pro - at which I am a complete novice. Is there a way to bring all of these contact fields (from Booking & Forms) + meeting details + Zoom link together in the CRM to create custom notifications there?
All suggestions gratefully accepted. ππΌ
Hi, I'm looking for some clarification on the purpose of the plugin. I do see that the term 'event' is used, but I don't find a lot of information about it.
From my point of view, an appointment booking system has a main use case in that an interested person or party can check the availability of a service and book a time slot to consume the service. The calendar for a service is one of the central objects to start with.
With an event, though, finding an available time slot to book a service, is not the main use case, as the event has a fixed date, time and location. The booker doesn't need to see a calendar with time slots, he wants to see all the information about the event itself. So the calendar is not the central object to see, but the event page itself with all the details on target audience, main benefits, topics, speakers, etc. It doesn't need to be connected to an availability calendar as it is planned separately from an appointment booking service.
At least that is how I see the difference. How should I position FluentBooking from this perspective? Is it supposed to support both appointment and event booking systems, or is it mainly focused on appointment and it has a very light support for event booking?
Would love to hear your thoughts
When a collective meeting is booked, the calendar entry is created only for the organizer. However, my team member also needs to receive a calendar entry. Otherwise, they could end up being double-booked in their own remote calendar.
Is this already possible, or would this need to be a feature request?
I've started setting regular recurring appointments with my students. I really don't want to book the same meeting (at different dates) 20 times. And also do it for 15 students. It's not feasible. I know fluentbooking still doesn't support recurring appointments. I also want to do this on my end manually, and not let the user do it.
Has anyone found a workaround?
Hey, I dunno is this was just a fluke, but I recently migrated my main website from one host to another. And afterward, FluentBooking was failing to fully schedule calls because of a critical error on the AJAX. When I looked at the logs, it looked like it had to do with my Apple Calendar integration failing, so it caused the entire booking process not to work properly.
I fixed it by reconnecting to Apple. And just for good measure, I also re-connected to Zoom.
I didn't know if, perhaps, this would be a know issue that makes sense? Perhaps the connection info is stored in such a way internally that it would break the connection when the site is migrated?
Just posting in case it is a bug. I really don't know for sure. π€·ββοΈ
I can't seem to connect Outlook calendar and/or Teams. I log in for authorization, my company admin authorizes me, then nothing. I've looked for documentation or tutorials but no luck. I think I'm going the correct route: host settings | then adding the calendar which gets me stuck in the admin authorization loop. Thoughts anyone?
Thanks
A client asked if this was possible, and it's a good idea. To have the plugin randomly fill in some meeting slots with fake "taken" blocks. Could this idea be considered?
Hi there doesn't seem to be a demo site, I'm considering purchasing but want to "try" the plugin, without having to install it on a website.
SUrely you guys can make at least a frontend demo?
Since the topic arose again a few days ago: has anyone implemented a workflow, how you might be able to sell coaching call bundles with FBooking as if you would have a credit system?
