I've been working on integrating FluentCart with the new Etch builder, and what started as a proof of concept has evolved into something I think could be really useful for the community.

What I've Built So Far

I've successfully made FluentCart's custom tables accessible to Etch, which means developers can now build shop pages directly in Etch without relying on shortcodes. But as I dug deeper, it became clear that a proper integration needs more than just table access.

Planned Features

I'm developing this as a premium plugin with the following functionality:

Etch-Specific Features:

• Currency formatting for prices (FluentCart stores prices in Stripe notation as integers in cents, which Etch can't display properly)
• "Add to Cart" button functionality (the "Buy Now" button is already working)
• Tax display alongside prices
• Access to product metadata, variations, and details within Etch

General Enhancements:

• Backend configuration using net prices while displaying gross prices on the frontend
• Dynamic tax calculation and display based on user location
• Automatic currency switching based on customer's country

What I'm Looking For

Before I finalize the feature set, I'd love to hear from the community: What FluentCart/Etch functionality would make your workflow easier? Are there pain points I haven't addressed or features you'd find valuable?

I need your help to think this through. I am using Fluent Community on a site and I love it. I have another site that just needs a way for people to buy a membership to it (via FluentCart) but I don't need the community aspect.

All I need to do is hide one button type from non-members.

I was thinking of adding the community (I have many licenses) and just not publishing or hiding the actual forum.

But then I thought...what am I doing? Don't I just need a way for a subscription product to change the role of the purchaser for the length that it is paid and then change it back when they cancel?

I am using Bricks builder on my site, so I can restrict content according to role (I think it will also work with custom roles)

So...does this make more sense:

1. Add a user role plugin to create a new role.
2. Create a new user role called 'member'.
3. Only show button if user role = 'member' (using Bricks conditionals).

Setup the following using AutomatorWp or Bitflows:

• Someone buys membership Product -> automation changes role from 'subscriber' to 'member'
• Membership expires -> automation changes user role from 'member' to 'subscriber'

I may be missing something here, so I am hoping you can help me find any holes in this approach.

I do have access to several phenomenal membership plugins including FluentCommunity but I think they are probably all overkill for what I need to do and I'm hoping what I laid out above is all I need. Will it work?

I have two products in my store. Both are Wordpress plugins, both have the same setting, but one shows "Buy now" with a direct buy link and the other shows "Add to Cart" and adds it to a cart with the option to buy more than one license. Settings are identical (at least, I did not see a difference). So what determines which button is shown in the shop and how can I change it so all show the same button?

Is there a dedicated developer forum for these kind of questions? If so, please give me a hint.

I am migrating my plugins from EliteLicenser and SureCart to FluentCart, and I wonder if there are some hooks/checks to protect premium functions with a license check. EliteLicenser has such a feature that checks if a certain function is part of the license. While I can query my server each time, it seems overly expensive to do so. I know the developer docs are still work in progress, but can someone point me to the necessary PHP functions/hooks that are available for license checks in custom plugins?

Shahjahan Jewel, please are you adding automatic multi-currency switcher in fluent cart.

It should detect the country the customer is coming from and switch to the country currency.

This option is very important, especially for those selling globally.

Im over Woocommerce and cartflows, im ready to make the migration, anyone has sucesfully migrated memberships from woomcomerce to fluentcart? I could do the products manually.

Or any update when the migration tool will be ready?

Is it possible, using the Fluent Shopping Cart, to create products, have the customer choose the products and be directed to the cart, complete the payment by credit card, Pix (Brazilian instant payment system), or local payment, and have the order sent to WhatsApp after the purchase is completed?

From what I understand, the initial purchase process is possible: product selection, payment (according to the payment gateway), but I haven't seen the order being sent to WhatsApp after completion. Could someone help me with a way to implement this?

I built a WordPress plugin using Claude: Lista Recurring Events
Set one event (zero duplicate posts), choose the pattern, and it auto-generates all future dates virtually. Super easy to use for people that don't need the larger event plugins out there.

Works with Bricks (using custom query) and Elementor Pro (using Query ID), ACF, JetEngine and all the usual suspects. And yes — it’s very cheap. Not because it didn't cost me an arm and a leg (and a few hairs) to build, but 

1. because it’s my first licensed plugin launch (mostly vibe coded), and I want people to have it affordably. 
2. And because I'm using Fluent Cart as a checkout process and license management, which as far as I can tell, works very nicely! But is a very new e-comm platform that I want to put to the test with my plugin.

I've connected to Stripe and have NOT activated Klarna, but its nevertheless showing on the checkout page.

Shahjahan Jewel we have wpml on our site for multi-lingual. We need a way to capture the language on checkout, so we can tag the customer for a specific language.

Is there a way to do this at the moment?
