Is it currently possible to invite an external instructor to create and manage a course without giving them access to the rest of the community?

More specifically:

  • The instructor would be able to create/edit courses and lessons
  • But should not see or interact with the community, members, posts, or feeds
  • Ideally with a dedicated role like Instructor or Course Creator only

From what I understand, today course creators must be regular WordPress users and community members.

Is there:

  • A native way to restrict access only to course-related features?
  • Or a roadmap item planned for external instructors / limited course roles?

This is a very common use case for professional training platforms, so I’m curious how FluentCommunity plans to handle it.

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Dear Shahjahan JewelΒ , please add the ability to display time in Messenger in a 24-hour format. Not everyone uses the 12-hour format. In the countries our service is designed for no one uses it at all and many find it confusing and inappropriate. Perhaps you should link the time display format in all your plugins to the one set by the WordPress admin? This time format display issue is found in many Fluent plugins, creating problems for users.

Time display in Messenger in a 24-hour format

Greetings, Fluent Community team.

I'd like to know if Fluent Community will ever have collections of spaces?

I want to move FC from Site A to site B. How can I do this without killing site B?

Move FC plugin

Move FC directory

What do I do with the db tables from site A? Edit what? Then merge with Site B db?

Some instructions would be helpful.

Thank you

Right now it is taking the first few letters. It does not look great. Can we customize this? At the very least the icon we picked for the community that is shown on the left side of the screen could be used as a default.

Have you ever considered a mobile header that slides away when you scroll down and reappears when you scroll up, like Facebook does? It frees up valuable screen space and keeps navigation within reach exactly when users need it.

Has anyone had experience integrating LearnDash with FluentCommunity? If so, what were your experiences? Anything to be aware ofβ€”any recommendations or drawbacks?

Thanks!

Am I the only one who finds the weekly E-Mail not smart enough? Often I get informed about my own postings, which is quite nonsense under the heading "You might have missed this" πŸ˜€

My wishes:

  • Feature only the posts which are unread by me. Don't send a mail of there are none.
  • Have a smarter subject line, e.g. "Rolf, you missed 3 topics, 22 answers and 2 direct messages."
  • I wan't to be able to send / receive the mail also daily instead of weekly. This is useful for forums for working teams.

Kind regards,
Rolf

Any news on this? I see this community has it as an option. I was expecting to see it in the update but seems not ready yet.
