this keeps happening. every time the user tries to log in using magic link, they see this. the user doesnt appear in fluentauth logs as failed or blocked, and unchecking the Login Security Settings doesnt do anything. also tried clearing the cache, still nothing.

to add – this only happens occasionally, and not for every user, its random and seems to fix itself (not after 30 mins as suggested but much later), i just need to know why this is happening and fix it.
There's likely a hook/snippet to change the wait times.
David Churchill in fluentauth i can disable or change the wait times, but it has no effect on this issue, and strangely the users login attempt is not in the logs

Shahjahan Jewel i love that you guys are pushing updates all the time, but as logging into the community itself is such a vital bug, i would have thought you'd be a bit more responsive that waiting 8 days and having you chase you up!
Checking this issue, are you using fluentAuth by the way?
Shahjahan Jewel yes, fluent everything haha - community, cart, auth, smtp, crm etc. we have magic link enabled, which seems to be causing the issues. nothing shows in auth logs, but people cant log in.

And I add, some of my users got blocked and I don't see clearly how to unblock them from within Fluent Auth ( this is a question ;-) )

Disable Fluent Auth. It’s not worth using in my opinion. I remember this plugin being tricky in the past too.
we use it for magic link login, can you recommend an alternative?
I'd think there's 20+ alternatives but:
- learn to live without feature
- swap feature for Passkey/2FA login
- chat with bot for alternatives
- https://really-simple-ssl.com/login-protection/
