Any chance theme compatibility is implemented for this promising builder?

At the moment it only works when the user is not logged in, which defeats the purpose of a community.
When logged in, it works for a split second, then only the top menu is displayed.

this keeps happening. every time the user tries to log in using magic link, they see this. the user doesnt appear in fluentauth logs as failed or blocked, and unchecking the Login Security Settings doesnt do anything. also tried clearing the cache, still nothing.

I really like how the lessons of a course are automatically listed inside the Lock Screen of the course. It’s a very clean way to show the course structure.

Question: Is there a way to display that same dynamic list of lessons for a specific course on a normal WordPress landing page (outside the Lock Screen)?

Ideally, I’d like to show the lessons of a course dynamically on a sales/landing page before the user purchases it.

Is there a shortcode, hook, or recommended method to achieve this?

A client is using WooCommerce Subscriptions to power his website subscribers and would like to add a community aspect. I like the look of FluentCommunity. Does it integrate with WooCommerce Subscriptions out of the box so that when a subscription expires, the user's access to FluentCommunity is revoked?

Has anyone used a wrapper app such as Median.co for their Community?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there are any examples of courses built with Fluent Community on this site?
I'd like to see how they feel and explore the functionality.

The private member site I've been building for over 8 months finally went live last Friday. So far everything is working well. We've had about 1800 members log in so far.

First, thanks to WPMN for creating a great product. And thanks to many of you that have answered questions here. It is very much appreciated.

We're using spaces but sparingly so far. Our old member site (all custom WordPress) didn't have similar functionality so we're starting slow with spaces in the new site. Based on internal conversations, I suspect we'll have close to 50 spaces by the end of the year.

We have an external LMS so we have the courses functionality disabled. The site has more regular WordPress content currently than true FluentCommunity content.

Some things I've learned over the last 8+ months building the site and working with FluentCommunity.

1. Test, test, test, and test again. Then test some more.
   Our site is using a good bit of custom code primarily to make the regular WordPress pages look exactly like FluentCommunity pages. This works great but it also means changes in future updates may break some of that custom code. Testing before upgrading the live site is key.

2. Not all the functionality we (or likely anyone) need will ever be included in the core FluentCommunity product so alternative solutions and add-ons are needed.
   WPMN has built a great product that meets the basic needs for most functions. Based on posts here by WPMN and the pace of new features over the last year, it is clear that FluentCommunity by itself will never meet all our needs.

3. Integration with other Fluent products is basic but could be MUCH better.
   It would be awesome for WPMN to make more of their products fully integrated in FluentCommunity. Even something as basic as making dark mode work with FluentBooking and others so we don't have to create all the necessary CSS manually would be a blessing.

4. Test!
   Did I already mention you should fully test new versions before upgrading production sites? :)

5. External tools and add-ons are key.
   Some of the other tools we're using are FlowMattic, Out-of-the-Box Dropbox plugin, FluentBooking, Formidable Forms, ICS Calendar, BasePress knowledgebase plugin, and a few small plugins I developed that are custom to our environment. Now that the site is live, I plan to look at some of the add-ons that have been mentioned here to see how we can make the site better.

Hi all, does anyone know, or have they created a document management feature for Fluent Community Spaces? Currently, documents in Fluent Community are Feed posts with content_type = 'document'. Each document is a Feed entry whose files are stored as Media records and linked via document_lists in the feed meta. It works, but it's a very basic flat structure and makes assumptions about adding details about the file(s) and auto checks the 'Publish as post' option.

A few other observations:

- There is no option create/add folders and allow the user to add a file to a new or existing folder.

- It actually won't let you add a file without providing info about the files first. There is a text box, called 'About these files' that needs text in order to simply upload a document - so there are UX issues that are not directly obvious.

- There also does not seem to be a way to delete documents?

Keen to get your thoughts and understand if anyone has a working solution to this, ideally with a folder CRUD structure. I had a quick check on the roadmap, there was a feature request added for this around a year or so ago.

Example where this is useful: any community/organisation that needs file management for collaboration, there are many, many use cases for this.

Is there anyway via the developer docs to modify the modal so that I can add a checkbox that when a post is created or edit, can be used to hide the metadata such as the date? This would be useful for announcements that are pinned for example.

Our team is still working on more features and improvements before we ship this to everyone. The goal is simple: change how you use video on your WordPress site. We want video to be a conversion tool, not just a content container, while still giving your visitors the best possible experience.

And honestly? I think we're already there. FluentPlayer is already the most feature-rich video player plugin in this category. What's coming next will just make that gap wider.
