I’ve been building an AI-powered business operating system on top of the Fluent stack (CRM, Cart, Boards, Community, Support, Forms, Affiliate), and I’ve reached a point where I think the community needs to come together.

THE SITUATION

Right now, there are scattered MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for individual Fluent plugins:

• FluentBoards MCP → 18 tools (open source, by @danieliser)

• FluentCRM MCP → 34 tools (open source, by Netfly App)
  github.com/netflyapp/fluentcrm-mcp-server

• FluentCart MCP → 279 tools (open source, by @vcode-sh / fchub.co)

That’s 331 tools available for free across 3 plugins.

But there’s nothing for Fluent Support, Fluent Community, Fluent Forms, or FluentAffiliate. The only option covering the full ecosystem is a commercial product priced at $497–$1,497 per site called FluentMCP

THE PROPOSAL

Let’s build one unified, official, open-source MCP server for the entire Fluent ecosystem.

One repository. One authentication. All 7+ plugins.

Here’s what already exists (open source, MIT/GPL):

• ✅ FluentCart — 279 tools (fchub.co)
• ✅ FluentBoards — 18 tools (danieliser)
• ✅ FluentCRM — 34 tools (netflyapp)
• ❌ Fluent Support — REST API exists, no MCP server
• ❌ Fluent Community — REST API exists, no MCP server
• ❌ Fluent Forms — REST API exists, no MCP server
• ❌ FluentAffiliate — REST API exists (undocumented), no MCP server

All of these plugins already expose REST APIs with WordPress Application Password authentication. Building an MCP wrapper is straightforward: each tool is roughly ~20 lines of TypeScript using the official @modelcontextprotocol/sdk.

WHY THIS MATTERS

AI agents are the future of how we interact with business software.

Claude, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf — they all support MCP now.

The Fluent ecosystem already has one of the most complete REST API surfaces in the WordPress world, with ~1,100+ endpoints across all plugins.

Having an official, community-maintained MCP server would:

1. Make the Fluent stack the most AI-ready WordPress ecosystem
2. Allow solo founders to run entire businesses with AI agents
3. Attract developers building AI-first workflows
4. Position Fluent as the WordPress platform for the agentic era
5. Remove the need for expensive third-party solutions

WHAT I’M OFFERING

I’m willing to contribute to this effort with developing my AI team and testing / feedback from a real production environment

PROPOSED ARCHITECTURE

The FluentCart MCP by @vcode-sh already solved the hardest problem: dynamic tool discovery.

Instead of loading all 279 tools (~30K tokens), it uses 3 meta-tools (~1.5K tokens) that discover and execute on demand.

That’s a 96% token reduction.

We should follow the same pattern for the unified server:

• 3 meta-tools for discovery + execution
• All 7 plugins as modules
• Single WordPress Application Password authentication
• Compatibility with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and any MCP client

THE ASK

Shahjahan Jewel  — tagging the Fluent team — would you consider:

1. Creating an official fluent-mcp repository under the WPManageNinja GitHub organization?
2. Coordinating with the existing GitHub contributors (@danieliser, Netfly App, @vcode-sh) to unify efforts?
3. Making MCP support a first-class feature of the Fluent ecosystem?

The REST APIs are already there. The open-source MCP servers prove the pattern works. We just need to bring it all together.

My forum or community has never done that great in google index. It took two weeks to get 10 indexed pages, now the forum seems to be losing the battle. Now im down to 7 indexed pages.

My blog is a different story. I can post a 5k article and will index within an hour.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to share a plugin I built for FluentCommunity: FCOM Certificates automatically generates professional PDF certificates when a student completes a course. No manual work required.

How it works

When a learner finishes a course (or passes a quiz with a minimum score), the plugin instantly generates a personalized A4 landscape PDF certificate, saves it, and emails it to the student with a download link. That's it -- fully automatic.

👉 Two trigger modes

• Course completion -- certificate issued when all lessons are marked complete
• Quiz validation (FluentCommunity Pro) -- certificate issued only if the quiz score meets a configurable threshold (e.g., 92%)

Each course can override the global trigger mode, so you can mix both approaches on the same site.

👉 Two certificate types

The plugin generates different certificates depending on the trigger:

• Course completion -- "Certificate of Completion": certifies the student completed the training. Customizable title and phrase (e.g., "has successfully completed the course").
• Quiz certification -- "Skills Certificate": certifies a validated knowledge level. Displays the quiz score prominently. Customizable title and phrase (e.g., "has demonstrated their skills in").

All four texts (title + phrase for each type) are configurable globally and per course.

👉 Smart quiz filtering

Not every quiz should trigger a certificate. Configure a keyword (default: "Certification") -- only quizzes whose title contains that keyword generate a certificate. Training quizzes are ignored. Configurable globally and per course. Leave empty to accept all quizzes.

👉 What's on the certificate

• Your logo and brand colors (Optional)
• Optional background image (A4 landscape, up to 5 MB)
• Student name (pulled from FluentCommunity profile)
• Course title
• Completion date
• Quiz score (if applicable)
• Unique verifiable certificate number with customizable prefix (e.g., CAIA-202604-X48DR)
• QR code for instant verification (in addition to the text URL)
• Verification URL
• Instructor name (Optional)
• Company details (address, phone, registration number)
• Optional watermark (image or text)
• Configurable validity period with expiration date

Two built-in templates: Classic (centered, decorative borders) and Modern (colored sidebar layout). Both print-ready with proper white margins. PDF metadata included (title, author, subject visible in document properties).

👉 For the student

• Receives the certificate by email (with PDF attached) immediately after completion
• Can download it anytime from a "My Certificates" page
• Can verify it publicly via a verification page (auto-created by the plugin)
• Can add it to their LinkedIn profile with one click (pre-filled form)
• Receives a reminder email before expiration with a direct link to renew

👉 For the admin

• Full settings page: logo, background image, colors, templates, email templates, validity period, reminder delays -- everything is configurable
• Dashboard: overview with stats cards (total/active/expired/revoked), monthly generation chart, top certified courses, activity log
• Certificate registry: paginated list of all certificates with search, filters (status, mode), and sortable columns
• Manual generation: generate a certificate for any student + course from the admin, with choice of certificate type (completion or quiz) and optional score
• CSV export: download the full registry for reporting
• Revocation: revoke any certificate with a reason -- revoked certificates can no longer be downloaded or verified
• Preview & test: preview the PDF with sample data, or generate a real test certificate to verify the full chain (PDF + email sent immediately)
• Per-course settings: override template, trigger mode, certificate titles & phrases, background image, instructor, minimum score, validity, quiz keyword, and email template per course (via FluentCommunity's Meta Settings API)
• Admin notifications: optional email alert each time a certificate is generated
• Activity log: tracks certificate generation, revocation, expiration, and manual generation with timestamps and user info
• Export/Import: export all settings to JSON, import on another site

👉 Expiration & reminders

Certificates can have a configurable validity (e.g., 12 months). The plugin automatically:

• Marks expired certificates
• Sends a reminder email X days before expiration (configurable), with a direct link to retake the course
• The verification page shows "Expired" for expired certificates

👉 FluentCRM integration

• Automation trigger: "Student Gets Certificate" -- create funnels that fire when a student earns a certificate. Appears in the FluentCRM automation builder under "Course Certificates". Options to run once or for every certificate, and to control re-entry behavior.
• Automatic tagging: apply a FluentCRM tag when a certificate is generated
• SmartCodes for email automations: {{fcom.download_url}}, {{fcom.certificate_id}}, {{fcom.course_title}}, {{fcom.student_name}}, {{fcom.issued_at}}, {{fcom.verification_url}}, {{fcom.linkedin_url}}

👉 Other integrations

• LinkedIn: one-click "Add to profile" button in the email and on the certificates page, with your Organization ID for automatic company linking
• FluentCommunity portal: optional "My Certificates" link in the portal menu
• Webhooks: configure a URL to receive POST JSON notifications on every generation, revocation, or expiration. Compatible with Zapier, Make, n8n.

👉 Shortcodes

• [fcom_certificate_verify] -- public verification form
• [fcom_my_certificates] -- student's certificate list with download + LinkedIn buttons
• [fcom_certificate_completions] -- recent completions feed (configurable limit and animation)

👉 GDPR ready

Optional GDPR compliance (toggle on/off in settings). When enabled, integrates with WordPress personal data tools:

• Export: students can request their certificate data
• Erasure: anonymizes records, deletes PDF files, keeps anonymized traces for legal compliance

👉 Security & quality

• Every line of code has been audited for SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, path traversal, and authorization
• Rate limiting on public verification endpoint
• HMAC-signed download links (no login required, works from emails)
• QR code verification on every certificate
• File integrity checking
• 3-layer license protection system
• Proper uninstall with confirmation dialog listing all data that will be deleted

Other details

• Fully translatable (326 strings, .pot file included, English translation built-in)
• Self-hosted update system
• Works with WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 8.0+
• Requires FluentCommunity with the Course module enabled

The plugin will be offered at a price of 49 EUR, with a lifetime license (nothing to pay each year, because your business should not depend on a third party).

Noticed today that user badge tooltip is overlayed by hover card. Is it supposed to work like this?

Hi everyone, I have spent the last week running lots and lots of tests with SpaceEvents and feel confident everything is working, so I have decided to skip beta-3 and go straight to Release Candidate 1 🎉

I'm just updating the documentation, but the latest version is available today — the first year discount is also still available.

Whats new!

• Recurring Events: Events can now repeat on a schedule, choose from daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly patterns — or pick specific dates manually for irregular schedules. You can also exclude specific dates if required.

There are two major issues with Bunny.net video embeds inside Fluent Community:

1. FluentPlayer is not applied
   Bunny videos are showing their default player instead of FluentPlayer UI - this breaks consistency across the platform.
2. Multiple videos play at the same time
   If I play Video 1 → then Video 2 → then Video 3…
   All of them keep playing simultaneously (no auto-pause).

This creates:

• Overlapping audio
• Poor learning experience

👉 Expected:

• Bunny videos should use FluentPlayer skin
• Playing a new video should auto-pause previous videos

This is a critical issue for anyone using Fluent Community.

Would love to see this prioritized

I noticed that the user search function inside the Chat feature allows any member to look up and list all community users: even when "Only allow moderators and admins to initiate chats" is enabled.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Set chat permissions to "Only moderators and admins can initiate chats"
2. Set all profile visibility options to private
3. Have the community set to private
4. Log in as a regular member
5. Open the Chat section and use the search bar
6. All user profiles are searchable and visible

Expected behavior: Regular members should not be able to search or list other users if chat initiation is restricted and profile visibility is set to private.

This is especially concerning for communities with strict privacy requirements.In the case of private communities, and after the latest GDPR-related update I configured all profile visibility settings to private as well. Despite this, the chat search still exposes the full member list if you use the search bar.

This feels like an oversight: the chat search doesn't seem to respect the privacy/visibility settings applied elsewhere.
