Hi FluentCart team,
I found a possible rounding issue in the tax breakdown display for VAT-inclusive prices.
The order total is 14.90 β¬ including 19% VAT.
Mathematically, the calculation should be:
14.90 β¬ / 1.19 = 12.5210 β¬ net
So the rounded values should be:
- Net amount / taxable base: 12.52 β¬
- VAT: 2.38 β¬
- Total: 14.90 β¬
However, FluentCart displays:
- Taxable base / Nettoanteil: 12.53 β¬
- VAT / MwSt.: 2.38 β¬
- Total: 14.90 β¬
This does not add up correctly, because:
12.53 β¬ + 2.38 β¬ = 14.91 β¬
So the displayed taxable base seems to be rounded incorrectly by 1 cent. The VAT amount and the total are correct, but the taxable base does not match the total.
I attached screenshots showing the issue.
Could you please check how the taxable base is calculated and rounded for VAT-inclusive prices?
Expected display:
- Taxable base: 12.52 β¬
- VAT: 2.38 β¬
- Total: 14.90 β¬
Current display:
- Taxable base: 12.53 β¬
- VAT: 2.38 β¬
- Total: 14.90 β¬
Thanks for checking this.

Hi!
Does anyone know if it's possible to make composite/'pick and mix' bundles on FluentCart?
I'm thinking of, say, a subscription box service where you can choose sizes/flavours/scents/colours for different items. So there's a general bundle (say, one shirt, one water bottle and one hat) and then you can choose a variation for each one?
Is there an add-on that does something like this? Or is it possible in the base plugin?
Thanks!
I want to query all the newest products based on creation date. The problem is: every edit changes the post_date. That's why querying by newest doesn't work. But is a basic requirement for a product grid/carousel.
I tried the variations gallery which I think can be improved. When we chose a variation we should only see the gallery images associated with that variation. Woo commerce has the right approach that the other variation gallery images dont show. I guess this can be easily remedied.
FluentCart already includes a terms and conditions checkbox, but sometimes you may need an additional checkbox before customers complete checkout.
For example, you may want customers to confirm:
- They reviewed selected product add-ons
- They agree to a custom refund policy
- They understand digital products are non-refundable
- They accept custom production terms
- They approve personalized order details
What We Will Build
In this tutorial, we will add a second checkbox above the Place Order button on the FluentCart checkout page.
The checkbox will:
- Appear before the Place Order button
- Use FluentCartβs checkout field styling
- Be required before checkout can continue
- Show a validation error if unchecked
- Save the confirmation value into the FluentCart order meta

Summary:
Removing an item from the cart drawer does not persist. The item reappears after a full page reload (hard navigation, not just a soft refresh).
Steps to reproduce:
- Add two physical, simple-type products to the cart (tested with two different products, different price points).
- Open the cart drawer.
- Click the "Remove item" (trash) button on one of the items. The item visually disappears from the drawer immediately.
- Navigate to a different page or reload the current page (full page load, not an SPA route change).
- Open the cart drawer again.
Expected result:
The removed item stays removed. Cart total reflects only the remaining item(s).
Actual result:
The removed item is back in the cart, as if the removal never happened. Cart total reverts to include it again.
Additional notes:
- Reproduced consistently, multiple times in a row.
- Reproduced with the site's page-cache plugin both active and fully deactivated β ruled out caching as the cause.
- No error shown in the browser console during the removal action.
- Checked in browser dev tools: no "fct_cart_hash" cookie is present, and no cart-related entry was found in the browser's localStorage after removal β unclear where/how the cart state is being persisted or where the stale item is being restored from on reload.
- The "Add to cart" action itself works and updates the drawer/header total correctly. Only "Remove item" fails to persist.
- Tested while logged in as an administrator (WordPress admin bar visible, FluentCart running in payment Test Mode). Not yet confirmed whether the same happens for a logged-out/guest visitor.
Environment:
- FluentCart: 1.5.2
- FluentCart Pro: 1.5.2
- WordPress: 7.0
- PHP: 8.2.31
- Theme: Blocksy (active)
- Other plugins active on the shop-relevant path: Elementor 4.1.4, Elementor Pro 4.1.2, FluentCart Elementor Blocks 1.0.1, LiteSpeed Cache 7.8.1 (also tested with this deactivated, same result)
Is it recommended to use this plug-in for automatic currency switching? I'd like to try it but just wonder about anyone else's experience with this.
1.If you restrict a coupon to 1 per user, they have to register and log in before they can use it. This makes it impossible to add it automatically via URL.
I think the way some other ecommerce platforms handle this is they disable the coupon and show a popup once the person enters their email address and it's found.
When I tried it, you are sent to the checkout correctly, but the coupon is not applied and no error pops up.
If you enter the coupon code manually after that, this error pops up: "please log in to use this coupon"
also
2.Even without restrictions, adding a coupon using a url parameter is only working for me on Chrome. I tried Firefox and Edge but it was not applied.

Thanks for all the great work.
If you build in Elementor, you can now design your entire storefront visually, no theme templates or custom work required.
Here is what is new in 1.5.2:
- A full Elementor widget library. Full checkout, cart and mini cart, Buy Now, shop with product tables, carousel, category lists, search bar, store logo, dashboard button, plus a Theme Builder set for single product pages with a draggable Product Info widget. Every widget understands variations, subscriptions, coupons, and taxes, and pulls in FluentCart's styling automatically. For agencies, a beautiful layout and a working checkout are finally the same surface.
- SSLCommerz payment gateway. A little personal for us. Across Bangladesh and much of South Asia, SSLCommerz is the provider customers actually trust at checkout. Now it is a first-class option, installable in one click. Customers pay the way they already do every day, in their own currency.
- Paddle payments that settle correctly, every time. Paddle's Merchant of Record model could leave an order unpaid when it added tax, removed VAT for a reverse charge, or charged in another currency. FluentCart now reconciles that automatically, marks the order paid, and lets it flow straight to fulfillment and license delivery. A whole category of stuck orders, gone.
- The exact options a customer chose, shown everywhere. Size, color, material now carry through every surface: cart, checkout, receipts, subscription item names, and the admin order builder. Plus an itemized per-rate tax breakdown on PDF receipts.
A few nice improvements too: customers can update their saved card themselves (including on Paddle), faster email editing with smart merge-tag links, an inline option picker and per-variant checkboxes in the variation editor, Bricks product template support, and free add-ons no longer asking for a license. Plus dark mode polish and ongoing security hardening.
