How do you create a username and password at checkout?
When buying a subscription for a membership site you need to create a username and password to access it after you purchase. I would expect this to be part of the checkout process in FluentCart but I don't see anything in setting nor any way to add a username or password into the form via gutenberg blocks. How does a new member create their credentials to log in?
We are working on sign in/sign up system. If you you believe this limitation is blocking your business to start feel free ask our support to take care of it. BTW, you can always make custom solution using our FluentAuth. Thank you for your patience
Sarkar RiponΒ Thanks for the quick reply. Let me make sure I understand you correctly - are you saying that there is currently no way to create a username and password when someone pays? I want to make sure I understand you correctly because it would seem that running a membership-only community plugin (fluentcommunity) and building a shopping cart plugin (fluentcart) would be a "this cannot ship without the ability for someone to create an account when they sign up" requirement. I'm not angry, I'm not throwing shade here, I'm honestly asking if I am understanding you correctly - that you shipped a paid product that doesn't do one of it's core fundamental tasks, because it sounds like that is what you are saying.

Is there a timeline for this solution?
Because this isn't a feature, it's a necessity.
After purchasing, customers face complex account password change and email verification processes. Moreover, all of this works through the ugly standard WP registration/login/password reset process.
SureCart has solved this brilliantly with email > magic link. After purchase, the customer can access the dashboard simply with their email address.
Γzay Γzdemir To make it short and concise, I know user sign-in/sign-up is not just a random nice-to-have feature; it's a must-have feature. You know FluentCart runs inside WordPress and it has these sign-in/sign-up capabilities. Here, there is no business blocker. The only problem is if the user wants to offer a designed login flow, this is what I told you we are working on. Let's talk about the magic link. Yes, we have another free product called FluentAuth and we are making an integration with it to handle the battlefield. FluentAuth has magic link, 2FA, and passkey. Am I clear?
Erik BolesΒ If I have to guess, you already have/know the answer to these questions you're asking here as I can see your other posts and the responses from other members...just being curious, what else do you really want to know to make a decision?
Debo OgunrindeΒ Apologies for missing this comment. I've already made the decision to go with FC. While it's not nearly as robust as BuddyBoss, when you add FCA to it it really starts to do what you want it to do. Right now I will, however, be sticking with SureCart/sureMembers for POS and Login, FluentCart just isn't there yet.
Erik BolesΒ Welcome aboard!
