Currently we have:
Scheduled - Publish automatically on a chosen date
Published - Visible to everyone
Secret - Only visible to users with specific fluentcrm tag
Can the last post Visibility (secret) be made possible?
Hey friends, is there any way to allow users to subscribe to or choose to get content in their feed from certain spaces without making them private?
If I understood back in the beta presale that I'd never be able to use my existing plugins and blocks with FC, and the repercussions of that, I'd never have spent $1000 on it.
Hi everyone!
We really like both FC and FP, and weβd like to use them, but weβre not sure if what we want is possible.
Currently, our membership site has a video library with hundreds of videos that are searchable. We actually use a Kadence Query Loop for searching, and each video is a WordPress post with categories and tags.
Users select categories and tags from a drop-down menu and search, for example:
Videos between 10β20 minutes & upper body workout & for beginners.
This way, users can find the workout video that best suits their needs.
Is this possible somehow with FluentCommunity and/or FluentPlayer?
For example:I was thinking that each video would be a post with multiple tags, and users could search based on those tags.
Here's what I have in mind: "Maximum number of topics a user can select when creating a post." For example, if an admin uploads a video as a post, they can add multiple tags to describe the video.
However, what I don't see is the ability for users to search based on multiple tags.
As far as I can tell, itβs not currently possible to create multiple filters. Are you planning to add this feature?
Or is it possible to create a searchable FluentPlayer video library Space?
Thanks, and best of luck with your work!
Hi Team,
First of all, I really like the newΒ Custom Profile FieldsΒ feature. The implementation is clean and the concept ofΒ Field GroupsΒ makes it very easy to organize profile information.
While experimenting with it, I came across an idea that I think could make this feature even more powerful.
Conditional Field Group Visibility
It would be great if an entireΒ Field GroupΒ could be displayed conditionally.
For example, based on:
- Community Tags
- User Roles
- Space Membership
- (optionally) FluentCRM Tags
Instead of showing every profile section to every member, only the relevant groups would become visible.
Example
Imagine a creative community.
Most members simply participate in discussions.
Some members also work professionally as freelancers or agencies.
Those members receive aΒ Community TagΒ called:
Creator
Only members with this tag would see an additional profile section, for example:
- Portfolio Website
- Services
- Availability
- Hourly Rate
- Software Skills
- Languages
Regular members would never see these fields, keeping their profiles clean and simple.
Why Field Groups instead of individual fields?
Since Field Groups already exist, adding visibility conditions to the entire group would be a very elegant solution.
One condition could instantly show or hide a complete section without configuring every field individually.
Other use cases
This would not only benefit creative communities.
It could also be useful for:
- Coaches
- Teachers
- Vendors
- Moderators
- Premium Members
- Experts
- Agencies
Each member type often requires completely different profile information.
I think conditional Field Group visibility would make the already excellent profile system much more flexible while keeping it easy to manage.
What do you think?
We run a single WordPress installation at domain.com and are considering installing FluentCommunity on that same WordPress site.
Can FluentCommunity be served publicly under a different hostname, for example:
https://support.domain.com/portal/
while WordPress itself continues to use:
https://domain.com
as its main Site URL and Home URL?
The goal is to keep one WordPress installation, one database, and one admin area, but expose the FluentCommunity portal through the support.domain.com subdomain.
Would this setup be fully supported, including:
- generated internal URLs
- login and logout
- cookies and user sessions
- redirects
- REST API requests
- media uploads
- notifications
- assets and frontend navigation
Or does FluentCommunity require its portal to use the same hostname as the main WordPress site?
Small confession. Of everything we've shipped in FluentCart, the feature I use the most myself is the MCP. Every morning, before email, before Slack, I open Claude and ask my store a few questions. Plain English in, real numbers out, straight from the live database.
The first question is always the same:
"How are sales doing over the last 30 days compared to the period before?"
Ten seconds later I have revenue, orders, and average order value side by side with the previous period. That used to be three report views and some mental math.
Then I poke around depending on what looks interesting:
"Break down last month's orders by traffic source with average order value." This one changed my ad budget. Newsletter buyers were worth around $250 an order, paid ads closer to $110 (example numbers, but the shape was real). I was about to increase ad spend that week. I went back to writing emails instead.
"How much subscription revenue is expected over the next three months, and how much is at risk?" A cash forecast built from real billing dates, in one question.
"Which coupons are used most?" This once caught an old code that had leaked to a deals site and was quietly eating my margin.
"Give me the full financial picture for FluentPlayer" Used this a several times a day in this week π it shows the full breakdown of the sales activity of a specific product.
Setup takes about five minutes: WordPress 6.9+, FluentCart 1.4.1 or later, enable the MCP module in settings, create an application password, and connect Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP client.
I wrote up the full routine, every question I ask and why: https://fluentcart.com/blog/what-i-ask-my-store-every-morning/
Now I'm curious. How are you using AI and MCPs? Which prompt or MCP you use that was taking hours or days before the AI era?
PS: Posting this in this community as it's a generic discussion and I want to know how you guys are using AI and MCP.
Hi everyone!
Iβve been thinking about how we can make the ecosystem between Fluent Community and FluentCRM even more powerful, and I wanted to share a feature request/idea to see if anyone else would find this useful (and hopefully get the attention of the amazing WPManageNinja dev team!).
π The Idea: Sync "Saved Posts" to FluentCRM for Targeted Automations
Right now, Fluent Community is amazing for engagement, but we are missing a massive marketing hook: knowing what content our users are saving.
It would be a game-changer if FluentCRM could track when a member saves a post/bookmark inside a specific group or category in Fluent Community.
π οΈ How it could work:
- New FluentCRM Trigger: "When a user saves a post in Fluent Community" (with filters for specific Groups or Tags).
- Dynamic Segments: Add users to a specific list/tag when they bookmark a piece of content.
π― Use Cases:
- Lead Nurturing: If a member saves a post about a complex tutorial, FluentCRM could automatically send a follow-up email a few days later asking if they need help or offering a related resource/lead magnet.
- Content Curation: Send a monthly personalized digest based on the topics/groups where the user has saved the most posts.
- Upselling: If someone saves a high-value discussion about a premium service or product, it can trigger a targeted, automated sales pitch or a special discount coupon.
This deep integration would bridge the gap between community management and marketing automation perfectly, making our emails incredibly relevant to what users are actually interested in at that exact moment.
What do you guys think? Would this be useful for your community setups?
We are developing a platform for language learning coaching. We are looking at options and see that you have a very interesting stack of products. We will be building a community and courses. I have been looking through documentation but I cannot find answers to the following questions:
Is it possible to run live video through fluent community to members?
Secondly, it is imperative that users get feedback on their work and I cannot see anything about audio facilities.
Thank you. Samantha.
Hey,
Currently i have the FluentAddons PWA which is sweet. My community is well adapted to the pwa setup and no worries, everything is working fine.
Now i want to make the next step. I am searching for someone that can help me rearrange or customise the Fluent Community environment and provide my members a more friendly mobile experience.
My niche is parents and the most famous application is good inside that is running on Circle and i think some custom site or library.
Do you know someone or can you help me achieve not an identical but a more smoother user experience like the ones in the photos?
This app has a Home Screen, an ai bot with all the content incorporated, the community that people can chat and personal recommendations
