We just released WP Social Ninja with some exciting new features and improvements.

  • Tripadvisor API: Tripadvisor moved to their new Terra platform and 4.4.0 supports it. Create a key on the new developer platform and save it in your Tripadvisor settings. The plugin detects which API your key belongs to, so you do not pick a version. If you use Tripadvisor reviews, do this one first.
  • Search and filter inside a review feed (Pro). Visitors can search the reviews in a feed as they type, re-sort them, and filter to an exact star rating. The search runs across the review text your cards display, so results match what is on screen. Works on slider, random and popup feeds. Off by default. Look for "Let Visitors Search, Sort & Filter" in your review template.
  • Video testimonials (Pro). Attach a clip to any testimonial. YouTube link, Vimeo link, direct file URL, or a media library upload. Playback runs through FluentPlayer and loads only when a video can actually appear, so pages without video stay just as light.
  • Eight new feed templates. Instagram 3 and 4 plus Highlights, Facebook 3 and 4 including a mosaic that reveals post text on hover, TikTok 3 and 4 including Spotlight Hero, YouTube 4 and 5. Plus a Minimal header across all four platforms. Template names now describe the layout instead of "Template 1 to 5", so you can pick without opening every preview.
  • Review categories. Reusable labels across your whole review library. Group by product, service, location or campaign, bulk assign or remove, see counts per category, and carry multiple categories through CSV import and export in Pro.
  • FluentPlayer for YouTube feeds. If you run FluentPlayer, your YouTube feed can use it instead of the YouTube player. Videos still stream from YouTube. What changes is that you can borrow a player design and its layers, so a call to action or email capture sits on top of your feed videos. "Show Layers at Video End" re-anchors layers to five seconds before each video finishes, so a layer set for the four-minute mark still fires on a ninety-second clip.
  • Signed updates. Every Pro release is signed with a key that stays offline. Before WordPress downloads an update, your site checks the signature, product, version, and file hash. Any failure and it installs nothing.

Also: keyboard accessibility across feed cards, popups, album and video controls, and shoppable actions. Plus fixes for TikTok word and hashtag filters, Airbnb business info and rating parsing, Facebook warnings, CSV imports clearing author websites, and masonry layouts not reflowing when videos change card height.

Hi, I am trying to show "Past" events. It appears to be supported, but is still showing an event coming up in 1 months time.

Any suggestions?

Date filter not working

I have many professional website clients that use LinkedIn as their primary platform for outreach. I assumed when I bought a LTD that it would obviously be prioritized. I have a feature request that is 3 years old Shahjahan JewelΒ surely this is worth consideration.

Allow us to add videos from fluent player to show up in Wp Social Ninja Review Feeds. this will allow us to do testimonial walls like: https://testimonial.to/

The WP Social Ninja team is back with a release packed with things you’ve been waiting for.

First, the big one. FluentCart now has product reviews. It had no built-in way to collect or display product reviews. With WP Social Ninja 4.2.0, that gap is finally closed. FluentCart store owners can now collect reviews, customize how they look, and display them directly on product pages, all from inside WP Social Ninja.

We’re also introducing something we’ve been quietly building for a while, Native Review Collection Forms. WP Social Ninja can now build and manage review forms entirely on its own for FluentCart, WooCommerce, and Custom Sources with no extra plugin required.

WooCommerce store owners can now replace the default WooCommerce review field with WP Social Ninja’s native form. And for Custom Sources, just build a form, grab the shortcode, and paste it anywhere on your site.

Fluent Forms is still supported; if you need advanced form features, it’s just no longer a must-have to get started. On top of all this, we’ve shipped a solid round of improvements and bug fixes based on your feedback.

Full Changelog:

  • Introduced: FluentCart product review collection and display
  • Introduced: Native review form for FluentCart (No Fluent Forms required)
  • Introduced: Native review form for WooCommerce (Replaces default field)
  • Introduced: Native review form for Custom Sources (Shortcode-based)
  • Added: Spam protection via Turnstile CAPTCHA under Global Review Settings
  • Added: Show Review Images toggle in the review template editor
  • Added: Flexible rating click actions for WooCommerce (Drawer/scroll)
  • Improved: FluentCart review drawer (slide-in) experience
  • Improved: Performance with server-side search and async multi-select
  • Improved: Database queries and overall security
  • Fixed: YouTube channel β€œNo videos found” issue
  • Fixed: YouTube header banner display issue
  • Fixed: Google Business Profile location name issue
  • Fixed: Formatting issues in reviews and testimonials
  • Fixed: Review auto-sync input update issue

Review for fluent cart product.. and images, text, rating etc..

Can my Google business hours be synced or embedded to my website?

Has anyone faced an issue where it only display 6 posts from Instagram? I was on my website and wondered why it wasn't looking right. It shows 6 even though it defaults to 52. What makes it weirder - it's not even the 6 most recent. It's like 3 new, then 3 for a year ago or more! One all the way back to 2023. It only will show the 6 is the template builder. I deleted and logged in to Instagram again, cleared cache etc. - same result.

Hi,
I would love to create a social media wall, mixing the different sources (Insta, Facebook, Youtube etc.) into ONE feed. Like walls.io or juicer.io provides it. Is that possible with some custom functions or hooks or do you have something like that on your roadmap?
Would be a great upgrade of the features of Social Ninja in my opinion. :-)

Is it just me? Every few days I have to delete my YouTube connection and then recreate it. Same API key, just needs adding again.

Otherwise, I get a no videos found error.

YouTube always needs reconnecting
