We just released WP Social Ninja 4.1.0, and it's packed with some handy updates to make handling reviews, feeds, and all that stuff way easier. If you're building an online store, running a blog, or managing client sites, these tweaks should help beef up your social proof without the hassle.
Quick look at what's new:
- Reviews Dashboard: Got a new spot with tabs for Approved, Pending, and Spam. Super simple to sort through testimonials, especially if you're pulling from Fluent Forms.
- Moderation Options: Set it to auto-approve, manual check, or filter by stuff like star ratings, spam words, or even how long the review is - keeps junk out without much effort.
- Bulk Spam Tools: One-click to flag or unflag spam in batches. No more clicking through everything one by one.
- Better SEO: Added schema for overall ratings and product reviews, so you get those nice rich snippets in search results.
- Smarter Cache Clearing: Now you can clear cache just for specific feeds, not the whole site β quicker updates.
- Facebook Feed Improvements: Sorting for events and stories, plus filters to show only what you want, like just videos or pics.
- Load More Tweaks: Different limits for mobile vs desktop, so it feels better on phones.
- Styling Extras: More options for shadows, borders, hover effects, and spacing β no need to mess with code.
- Fixes and Speed-Ups: Sorted out bugs like slow database queries, sync glitches, and issues with WooCommerce, Airbnb, Instagram, etc. Runs smoother now.

Is it possible to design the review templates beyond what the interface is offering (rearrange elements, html...)
Is it possible to add the whtasapp chat button by shortcode? the top and bottom left or right don't really work on a mobile they block too much out.
I've tried restricting my YouTube API access to just my domain, but then I cannot access videos with WPSN.
Is there an intermediary domain being used that I need to give access to as well?
Iβd love for us to be able to pull posts from our LinkedIn pages the way Elfsight does (https://elfsight.com/linkedin-feed-widget/wordpress/), but in a more privacy-friendly way, using locally cached copies of each post so no third-party connection is required.
Hi, when using the schema in WP Social Ninja I get a remark from search console. How can I set/use the schema correctly?
A client wanted to have a chat function on their web site for their own customers. So I setup Tidio chat. I do feel it is a bit too complex. It gives a 6-7 day trial before one has to decide on which plan to get. With this in mind I decided to try and compare it with WP Social Ninja Chat.
I also made a video: https://youtu.be/C1gbNKnshwY
This is more a feedback video so it is unlisted.
I had expectations for the new version because I gave feedback on this some time ago and even made a tutorial for it. One sets the office hours and when outside these a contact form would show up. That did not happen. One still has to manually click the contact form icon to show a form.
I set the office hours but the setting of time was buggie/cumbersome as can be seen in the video. I was not able to click into the box and write a time and click enter.
I expected to have actually one chat method to where I could talk with the customer directly on the site while I used as an example my own Messenger they talked with me through the chat bubble without needing to open their own Messenger. It does not work that way
So my expectations of how I thought WP Social Ninja chat function would work and how it actually works are two very different things. The chat function is a lot more limiting than I originally thought it would be. In general I am very happy with WP Social Ninja in relation to social media sharing but the chat aspect does not really work for me. Hopefully the select a time bug and the outside office hours to automatically show a contact form message can be fixed. Of course it would be great to also see a direct on site chat as well....

I've noticed that the WhatsApp integration is having problems with the chat; when someone sends a message and clicks send, a blank page opens.
I'd also like to know if the issue with integrating the chat is that it opens the conversation screen, but instead of just chatting, it opens a window for conversation within the WhatsApp program.
Is there a way for the customer's chat conversation to be answered on WhatsApp, or something similar?
Hi, Shahjahan JewelΒ
Is there a natively way to export reviews (from GMB, for example)?
Use-case: You perfectly know that reviews and requests (like this) help us to build better products, services, communities, etc.
So I want to export the reviews to analyze them and make better business decisions.
P.S. I know I can make SQL queries and manually achieve what I'm requesting here, but I'm asking for a native exporting feature on WP Social Ninja.
