  1. You gotta quit dropping these things in the megamenu and teasing me like this, and
  2. When can I possibly get my hands on FluentInvoice??
FluentInvoice 🫨

Something I keep thinking about: this started as a weekend project. Today it runs on 600,000+ business sites, and a real part of what makes it good came from contributors on GitHub who sent patches because they cared. That is a beautiful thing, and it is why FluentSMTP stays free.

What's new:

  • Cloudflare Email Sending. New native provider. If your domain is already on Cloudflare, this is about the shortest path from "I need transactional email" to "it is sending."
  • Connection health monitoring. The worst email failure is the one you never see. A token gets revoked, the connection still looks healthy, and you find out three weeks later when a customer never got their password reset. FluentSMTP now checks every connection daily and alerts you on Telegram, Slack, Discord or Pushover the moment one breaks.
  • WP-CLI commands. test, health, stats, prune-logs. For the bad day when the broken emails are the same ones you need to get back into the site.
  • Better resend. Send it to your own inbox instead of the customer's, and every log now keeps a resend history.
  • Faster sending and faster logs. SMTP connections reused across bulk sends, and a proper index on the log table that killed several full scans.
  • A real test suite. The part I am most proud of. It already caught capability checks that were thinner than they should have been. It is in the repo if you want to steal the approach.

No pro version, no add-ons, no upgrade nag. It is what we give back, part of our Five for the Future pledge.

If you run FluentSMTP on client sites, tell me what still annoys you; I will try to include that in the next version.

PS: Have a minute and contribute? Please write a review, and that helps us a lot for WP Org: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/fluent-smtp/reviews/ πŸ™

It would be great to be able to edit the fields required to register. I only need email, so it could be 1 text field and a submit button, but the form requires seven steps.

This is all I need:

1.00

It takes 7 actions to sign up for an account. I would like to reduce this to the bare minimum. I don't know where to customise this and the docs don't say.

If I could ask for just:
1) first name and
2) email
...and then email them a password reset that would be perfect.

I'm getting a terrible sign up conversion rate. The vast majority of people exit the page.

How can I reduce the amount of info required to signup?

Thank you in advance!

Great work on Fluent Kit! πŸ‘

I noticed a small UX inconsistency that could make navigation even better.

Currently, almost every plugin in Fluent Kit provides a dropdown with quick access to its main sections. However, Boards does not show the tab "Settings" on the sidebar.

Additionally, the plugins listed under the "Others" section could also benefit from having dropdown options and not just a direct link. For example:

  • Media & Player
  • Auth & Security
  • Email Delivery (SMTP)
  • Community
  • Addons & AI Settings

At the moment, these are all direct links. Having expandable dropdowns with their most commonly used pages would make navigation much faster and keep the experience consistent across the entire Fluent ecosystem.

It's like, not having those, breaks the consistency.

It's a small UX improvement, but I think it would make Fluent Kit feel much more polished and reduce the number of clicks needed to reach common settings.

Right now we only have "Visit Community"
Go to Projects (Boards) was deprecated.

But now that we have Fluent Kit, I'd definitely love to have a direct access from any page to the full fluent kit.

I noticed that member profiles in this community already include a β€œCourses” tab, and it made me think about the huge amount of educational content WPManageNinja has already published across its different YouTube channels.

I already use structured private courses on Fluent ecosystem tools as part of the training I provide exclusively to my clients, and I have seen how much easier it is for users to learn when individual tutorials are organized into a clear path.

That is why I think it could be valuable to curate WPManageNinja’s existing tutorials into structured learning paths inside this community, using FluentCommunity and FluentPlayer.

There are already dozens of excellent videos. The main opportunity would be to organize them by product, experience level and practical outcome. For example:

β€’ Getting started with FluentCRM

β€’ Building advanced Fluent Forms workflows
β€’ Managing projects with FluentBoards

β€’ Creating a community with FluentCommunity

β€’ Connecting the entire WPManageNinja ecosystem

This could help new users get started faster, make valuable older tutorials easier to discover, reduce repetitive support questions and give members a clearer reason to return to the community.

It would also be a strong real-world showcase of FluentCommunity and FluentPlayer working together.

And it will help the team with support tickets, creating a knowledge base of: hey, you can also check this lesson, course, etc

Would you use structured learning paths like these?

Vote below and let the team know which product should get the first course.

I'd love to see a persistent Light / Dark / System theme setting across all FluentKit apps.

Right now, it feels a bit odd that Dark Mode is enabled in FluentCRM or Boards, but the moment you switch to another FluentKit plugin... πŸ’₯ instant flashbang.

A unified theme preference across the entire FluentKit ecosystem would make the experience feel much more polished and consistent.

POV: You enable Dark Mode in FluentCRM… then switch to another FluentKit plugin πŸ˜Žβ˜€οΈ
