Almost every day I wake up and the first thing I check is this community, hoping to finally read "Introducing FluentCRM 3.0 β The Biggest Update Ever..." π.
I'll keep an eye on it and I'm confident it will be soon. I know you're constantly improving and adding excellent features to various plugins in your Fluent ecosystem, and you're doing a great job.
Just so you're aware, there are four key points you could improve regarding the UX for Custom Fields in FluentCRM:
- Drag & Drop to reorder custom field positions: Currently, if you have 30 custom fields and want to organize them, you have to click the arrows 30 times to move them to the top.
- Visibility of custom fields based on Contact Type: Currently, if you create a custom field, it is displayed for all contacts, but for greater visual clarity, it would be excellent to be able to choose which fields will be visible and which will not, for certain contacts (by list, by tag, etc.).
- Reordering Field Groups: I haven't found a way to decide the order in which field groups are positioned. Drag and drop could be an option, or perhaps assigning a number to indicate the priority order.
- Collapse/Expand feature for Fields Groups: It would also be good to be able to collapse and expand a group of fields (like an accordion) to avoid cluttering the screen or making excessive scrolling when there are multiple fields.
Keep up the excellent work you've been doing on the other plugins β¨οΈ
I can't find documentation on setting default colors and styles for an email in the block designer inside Fluent CRM. ie: to set a color for all future Headline blocks, or change the spacing after a Paragraph?
What am I missing, or is this not possible? Thank you
Hi team,
I manage my FluentCRM setup with an assistant who helps prepare newsletter campaigns via the REST API. I've run into a permissions gap and a couple of API bugs.
THE PERMISSION ISSUE
There's no permission that allows creating campaign drafts without also granting the ability to send.
Current permissions:
β’ Emails β includes Send (too much access for a content creator role)
β’ Email Templates β only manages templates, not campaigns
What I'd love to see:
β’ A new granular permission: "Campaigns β Create/Edit Drafts" (no send)
β’ This would allow a team member or API integration to create campaigns, write content, set subjects and pre-headers -but leave the final Send to an admin
Use case: I have an automation that builds weekly newsletter drafts with content, subject lines, and pre-headers via the REST API. Right now there's no safe way to grant this access without also granting send.
RELATED REST API BUGS (reported previously, still unresolved)

POST /fluent-crm/v2/templates crashes:
TypeError: array_intersect_key(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, null given
File: fluent-crm/vendor/wpfluent/framework/src/WPFluent/Support/Arr.php line 354 -
PUT /fluent-crm/v2/templates/{id} β title updates but post_content is silently ignored:
Undefined array key "design_template"
File: fluentcampaign-pro/app/Hooks/Handlers/VisualEmailBuilderHandler.php line 160
Fixing these + adding a draft-only campaign permission would make FluentCRM's API genuinely useful for team workflows, agencies, and AI-assisted content creation.
Happy to retest whenever patches are available. Thanks!

It would seem that, if the email address of a WP user is changed, the email address is not updated in FluentCRM, although it is updated in FluentCart.
Also, If a customer is manually added to FluentCart, it is not automatically added to FluentCRM as a contact.
Have I missed something? These seem to be basic integrations that should be present.
I have in my flow, an email reminder for an online event and I would like to include a "Magic Link" login link that is for each registered user.
This is different form the login screen to send a login link. This is something I want automated from the CRM after a period of time.
What do you use and how do you implement it? I am currently looking to see if Magic Link Pro can do this and if not, which plugin? Thanks.
I plan a drip campaign for new subscribers. But I do not want to put all the content into an email. I want to add a link to certain blog posts. Is there an option to let subscribers get directly to the content of a blog post, while others are redirected to the subscription page? Here is my plan: I want to create a campaign with seven emails (one-week campaign). Each day a new blog post is linked. Those posts are not indexed or available anywhere else on the site. But they are not membership posts either. I just want a lightweight option to redirect non-subscribers to the sign up page and check who read all the content from my list.
- Analytics: See who checks all the posts from the campaign
- Protection: If user did not land on the post via a FluentCRM link, redirect to the subscription page
Does that work with FluentCRM? If so, how? Can someone push me in the right direction?
I use a lot of forms, for optin, but also for dataselection, intake, onboarding, surveys,....
I know I could implement this using automations and tags, but it would make my life so much easier if I could segment my campaigns and automation conditions on if a suscriber submitted a certain form or not
When you manage several lists, how are you dealing with unsubscribes?
Because, when you use the unsubscribe link, the person is unsubscribed from ALL lists.
I could use the preferences link with checkboxes per list, but this page misses one crucial option to make it compliant.
There has to be an option to unsubscribe from all communication.
Does anyone have a snippet or something that adds this option to the preference page?
A had a snippet that was working fine, that only removed the specific list where te email was sent from, but this is not working anymore, so I need another solution
I hope someone can help
