Updates on mobile App?
I initially joined in 2024 because i love the tool and was told the mobile app will be available end 24 or first half of 25. waited till 26 now,… it would be great to see at least some words about status and when / if we can expect that app to come. Thanks
You mean a mobile app for your site? There are a number of mobile app services on the market.
David Scurlock fluent community has a roadmap item for an app. I dont want to use another app service (most dont seem to work with fluent community anyways) if a native app is in the making.
Christian Anderl Fc is not building an app to my knowledge, however, they did announce that lazycoders would be doing the app for Fc but I have not heard anymore about it so they could have just fizzled out of existence.
David Scurlock Check the Roadmap. Also i asked Shahjahan Jewel several times about this after they launched FC and he confirmed there will be an app.
I wonder what method is used on WP Manage Ninja FluentCommunity. I see the CTA to install the app pop up when you visit from mobile.

Andre Gois Yes, but I'm wondering if they developed it themselves or are using a 3rd party service. I've noticed that there are WordPress plugins for this, but I'm wondering how well they work with FluentCommunity.
Tried many things. I can’t find a good fit. For now I use progressify only for push notifications. I am waiting for Ross the manager of Fcaddons to deliver push notifications because you can’t have push notifications if you use progressify if your default page is your community. Also the big promising app is from FChub. If that guy deliver his app it will completely change the game. The preview of the app was amazing.
Ioannis Glossopoulos I’m looking into Progressify. Why do you use it only for push notifications? Does it not work well with the rest of the FluentCommunity?
Marek I have problems with the dimensions, i put a css code to make it usable. Also, i have a problem with post, i cant find a solution yet. If the post is too big the X is going upwards in a dead area so the user cant push it. I am still trying to find a solution to that.

Seriously though a solution for an app will save our lives. 50% of my churn rate is about the mobile app. 90% of my users use the community from their phones.

Lazycoders had so much time to work it out and take the vast majority of users but nothing happened. Crickets and low level upgrades.
Ioannis Glossopoulos I dont think their heart and soul is in it anymore. They thought they were on easy street then it turned into a nightmare. They probably cant afford to pay their coders any longer.

But the problem or to make it more clear, my feeling is that before 2026, until november 2025 there was so much zest and expectations about fluent community ecosystem, now i am feeling that we are digesting the fact that the updates will take time. Will see. We have Ross FCA , our biggest star!

David Scurlock bit harsh David. I spent Christmas with my family then I've unfortunately been unwell and am still recovering. I've worked hard for over a year providing valuable input to this community and product - I'm not #6 contributor to the board by accident. I have built a lot of trust within this community, genuine trust, and it's a shame to see that questioned by you so publicly and without care.

Ross FCA I got nothing against you, but put yourself in our shoes. Would you really support that does not appear to be around most of the time? Would you go to Burger King if no one was there to serve you? Im very sorry but im not going to give you praise if you are away most of the time.
David Scurlock Dude there is a certain risk buying lifetime deals or invest to newly built software.
Fc community was and it is till now a work in progress.
We have the opportunity to cut the costs, provide what we have to our audience with the fraction of the cost when it comes to kajabi, buddy boss, circle etc.
You are took the risk and invest to a product. I am in fear watching fluent plugins make such a big step to cover so many aspects and domains.
I feel desperate some time watching so much fuss about fluent cart and not fluent community BUT I TOOK THE RISK.
In regards to Ross, dude you are cynical and cruel.
Ross was here from the beginning giving help to everyone and all his plugins were free except the event plugin that is totally awesome and do the work.
You calculate your decisions and take action. I took the risk. I know circle was a better and most mature product but I will stick to fluent family and Ross with all the “negative” part that you mention.
Doing business with lifetime deals has its ups and downs, so be wise and think about what you invest and what you wait in return.

I think at this point many of us are not asking for promises or hype — just clarity.
A lot of us committed early to FluentCommunity with the understanding (and roadmap hints) that a mobile app was part of the long-term vision. Now that we’re in 2026, it would really help to hear directly from Jewel or the team whether a native app is actually in development, paused, delegated to partners, or no longer planned.
Mobile is not a “nice to have” for communities anymore. For many of us, the majority of users are on their phones, and the lack of a solid app experience clearly affects engagement and churn.
Even a brief, honest status update would go a long way. Knowing where things stand helps us make informed decisions about our platforms and future investments.

You can create your own app with a pwa service. It was a one-time fee and I’ve had the app since 2024!
