Sorry I went quiet for past 2 weeks after throwing here some cool features for FluentCommunity... now you can see the reason. Realtime chat, realtime updates, realtime mobile app (the unofficial one), really awesome features for FluentCommunity. So fchub.co is something nobody asked for it. Some people need it. sorry, it's 20 min long video... so if you don't have time or don't want to waste time skip it, don't hate it. I'm really open to some ideas, new features, tweaks... but seriously I have no head to hate or disgrace

Looks awesome Tom. I get a bit confused with the native apps, if you've built everything again from scratch, and fluent community pretty much runs on top of wordpress... what is fluent community actually providing for this solution?

Ross FCA api and features. so 85% of everything :P mobile app (the unofficial I make) is just addon, app itself is from scratches, but all to fluentcommunity api, storage, solutions. fc-chat is fluentmessaging replacement - it's also a fork, 40% of backend rewritten and improved, frontend 100% new (still vue in latest version and modular components, so adding features is super easy, and if fluentcommunity change anything it will be 10 minutes to update and publish new release)

no it's not PWA. It's react, native for ios, android - two unified frontends but separated and connected via api only

Mat i've spent days on planning security and rate limiting. Even nice notifications for users if they breach rules to slow down... then pause/put on hold if that's still not enough then extended block, until ban ;) servers are in private network with 3 hops and these are firawalled better - still all data stays on community owner servers. The rest is encrypted and it's just push wss
Vibe Code Sterods are never a solution for sure. Have watched from start to end. We need the chat feature for FC maybe the Ninjas could adapt.
Meanwhile, I have been thinking of a PopUp for the case of the message maybe at the bottom right or customizable and the sound for a new message just like FB messenger.
Sophia S you have free chat in fluentcommunity... just not real time. But I'm being me - I love better things and chat must be realtime. otherwise it's not a chat but some kind of commenting system... to each other. boring :P next week I will test video chat in fc-chat - I've tried today.. worked... but need to learn few things to decrease delays
