SpaceBuddy (coming soon) 🚀
A little sneak peak - alongside an update to SpaceEvents, I'll soon be launching SpaceBuddy: a collection of free add-ons for FluentCommunity. I'm calling them "Packs" and they can be easily enabled/disabled and configured, adding extra functionality to your community.
IconPack - clean, stylish SVG icons for menu items, spaces, and custom links. Outlined and solid sets to start.
PWAPack - turn your community (or your whole website) into a Progressive Web App, with full control over the app manifest.
PushNotificationsPack - set up web push notifications for bell alerts, messages, and more. Pair it with PWAPack and members get updates on their phones.
WidgetPack - a simple, intuitive way to add custom widgets to the main Portal or specific Spaces.
Plus more tools and enhancements to follow over the coming months.

I am working on an iOS/Android app for another specific event website (not FC). Once I get my head around how everything works, I will definitely take a look at creating a template for FC.

Great to hear about this announcement. It is indeed an act that deserves true appreciation from the fluent community fraternity. Regarding the PWAPack, turning your WHOLE WEBSITE, instead of just the community, into a PWA would be a much useful development.
Any potential release date for PWAPack and PushNotificationsPack? These two are most important features for FC.
Can you tell us more about your widgets? I’ve been eagerly waiting for Ross’ ones but I’m losing hope. Could you show an example of what they could look like? Thank you!

Anne-Sophie W here's a couple of screenshots of the Widgets (still working on some bugs). Trying to make it flexible so you can add either add Global Widgets or if required, override the widgets on specific Spaces. So are, custom Text block, Button or Button Groups, Recent Posts, How;'s online, Links and a few more. If you are also using one of my own add-ons, there will be extra widgets for Events, etc... SpaceEvents v1.1.0 update first, then SpaceBuddy will follow soon after 👍
