Official Mobile Solution?
Been watching Lazy Coders and what they have going with Appza and of course Fluent Community Mobile.
But here's the thing and there's no getting around it: If WPMN is working on their own solution, it's gonna smoke everyone else. Nothing against Lazy Coders in any shape or form. I've just never witnessed a WordPress company like WPMN.
So with that, I don't want to spend time on something if WPMN has it in process. I've read rumors that WPMN is working on something, but can anyone verify?
Shahjahan Jewel, would you be able to chime in here? What's the official WPMN recommendation for taking our community mobile? THANK YOU!
I believe Shahjahan JewelΒ has stated before that they have no plans to build a mobile app themselves.
Thomas OatesΒ Yes, I recall him saying a few months ago that they are working with a third-party vendor who is developing such an app. I don't thunk he identified who the developer is, so it could be Lazy Coders.
Teddy SkokosΒ copy that. Lazy Coders has cool offerings so I'm hoping that's who it is. But it's an obvious choice to go with the "official" vendor. That's what I'm trying to sort out at this point I guess.
kyler boudreauΒ I just did a search and found the post Shahjahan JewelΒ made it about it 6 months ago. It was Lazy Coders that he mentioned, so it appears that is the "official" app for FluentCommunity. I didn't realize the app was already available! I just bought a lifetime 5-site license. Excited to try it! π
Teddy SkokosΒ oh right on...cool. Happy to hear Lazy Coders is working with them like this. Thanks!
Teddy SkokosΒ I've also been interested in the lifetime license, but their APPZA solution has kept me from doing that. Appza will allow you to publish your own Fluent Community app to the app store. COOL! It's in beta right now. I'm about to try it out.
