Hi, when can we expect more extended moderation tools? Both user helped moderation aswell as moderator users?
- Allowing users to report posts
- Allowing users to report users
- Allowing users to give a +1 +2 +3 / -1 -2 something like that score and automatically hiding a post if it for example receive -20 points
- Allowing moderators to hide a post for users, but not for the moderation team
- Allowing moderators to communicate on a post without users seeing it
- Allowing moderators to pin a comment within a topic
- Allowing moderators to merge comments and/or topics
I'm sure this will be coming soon as it's essential to a community.
Bucky Larson I'm not so sure. It feels like they priortize other things (like document in courses) Instead of getting the basics for community software done first. It's unfortunuate since I bought it, but without these essenstials can't really switch.
Same goes for duplication management, extensive granular permissions, navigation in large threads etc.
But we will see
We haven't purchased yet for that reason. I know it's still early but I'm hoping because of the way they designed it they can pump out updates faster than BB. We have a LTD with BB but don't want to use it. We'd like to see the same feature set included here. I think they are prioritizing the features they need and use within their own team first maybe? They only reason I'm watching this platform so closely is because of the native media offloading and integration with bunny services they said would be coming soon. Something that BB has had on their roadmap for years with no end in sight. We have no interest in the LMS. We want all basic the social networking community features first. We shall see over the next couple months how things take shape.
