Is There a Way To Move Posts to Another Space?

If a member chooses the "incorrect" space to add their post (e.g., their "Say Hello" post in the "General Discussion" space), does an Admin or Moderator have the ability to move their post to the appropriate space (for them)?

My undiagnosed OCD is looking out for the potential future disorganized mess! πŸ˜‰

Unfortunately not at this moment. There were a few requests for this feature (e.g. this post), but it hasn't happened yet.

Yes, I also have a post about Add Move Posts to Another Space feature to FluentCommunity.

πŸ™ Shahjahan JewelΒ it is very necessary, in addition to bringing it to the desired space, there are many other uses such as: Posts whenΒ reportingΒ violations will be brought to one place, or posts that need to beΒ archivedΒ will be put in the "Trash" space, for example.

If you're comfortable accessing your WordPress database, you can simply change the space___id in the fcomm posts table. Hopefully there is an admin feature added at some point to make this easier.

Stuart McKelvieΒ I think it is easy to move a single post with this DB workaround especially when you are moving a post without any other user comments/attachments + both spaces have the same Privacy settings.

Imagine a case scenario where under your post in Private: SpaceX you have 20 comments from different users and you are moving this post to other Private: SpaceY where some of these users don't have access (but for example they uploaded attachments).

Anyway... Moving posts can be really helpful for moderation too.
