Is the FluentPlayer Pro project dead?
This was supposed to launch in April and nothing has been posted about this video player since then. Anyone have any alternative solutions that can play audio files (mp3) in my Community posts?
Well...they read your mind and liberated this a few hours ago :P
Jorge Nava (SolidCapo)Β That's great news. I hope the integration with FluentCommunity is seamless and allows people to upload their mp3 files for playback for music communities like mine.
Carlos TaboraΒ Not sure about that, and I still don't see the official site about it, but anyway, you could try with soundcloud?

Also found the official site but couldn't find something as what you're looking for :S I suppose that should be a Fluent Community request.
https://fluentplayer.com/
where i could download alfa pro version? Actually update?
Ali KilicΒ I just know you can turn it on directly from fluent community settings...
Fluent Player Pro is still not release and the basic Fluent Player doesn't allow for uploading mp3 files through Fluent Community. Very disappointing. Looks like Fluent Player Pro is the forgotten stepchild of their product portfolio.
Carlos TaboraΒ so is it an absolute no that audio simply cannot be put in a post?
Pam Verner, it will be soon. The work has been done, the review process is runnning now, hopefully everything will be delivered by the pipeline.
Tawsif Ahmed RiyadΒ thank you, are you the developer?
Tawsif Ahmed RiyadΒ Hi Tawsif do we have a rough date on this please? So many have been waiting for this basic forum function
Bones McGgraw, Pam Verner, Carlos Tabora,
Audio upload feature has been added in v2.7.5
Tawsif Ahmed RiyadΒ it's working! I don't know why I'm so excited about something so basic, but I am! Is there a way to turn on or off the audio upload function for users? At the moment there seems to be a 'catch all' switch which would enable users to upload video as well. Ideally, we would restrict that to audio only.
Bones McGgraw, we will look into this; we have that in our notes.
Tawsif Ahmed RiyadΒ I don't think I would be alone in wanting users to only be able to post audio and not to clog up the system with video files.
