Deal URL: https://xcloud.host/fluent-community-exclusive/ (Ending tomorrow).
I appreciate having another opportunity to get the LTD. It was only after I switched over from Cloudways (when the LTD expired) that I realized how much better I like it with xCloud. You guys keep improving and adding new services, which really extends the value for me.
William Beem Thank you for your kind words. We are grateful for your trust and valuable feedback, which has helped our platform develop rapidly.
Hello Shifat Hossain .
I am one of those who grabbed the LTD. And I am happy with the change.
However I found problems during the migration process. That are still unresolved. And it’s starting to influence on my perception, to be honest.
Would you mind checking this post and letting me know if this is something normal?
https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/space/general/post/xcloud-storage-issues
Basically: couple of failed migration attempts. One server (80GB). One site (5GB). But a consumption of 40/80GB. Reduced to 30/80GB. But after different talks with support it appears there is no clue on why the storage disk went up this much, when the server is just using one site.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Loving the platform so much. Just wanted to share this. As a non-expert on VPS, that have just migrated from a shared hosting.
Jorge de los Reyes sorry for the hiccups as our Migration plugin is still in BETA. Most of our users prefer migrate guru and this works great with xCloud. We also provide free migration service for as many sites as you want.
I am checking immediately with the support team with this username of yours in fluent-community. You can just share me the ticket id and i am jumping over it now.
Shifat Hossain Hello Shifat,
Thank you so much for your quick and kind response.
The ticket ID is #4216.
This ticket actually covers several issues that arose during the migration, which in the end was handled by the xCloud team (without the plugin). Among them:
- The unexpected storage usage, which remains unexplained. (30/80GB for one site)
- And some leftover traces from the demo site’s previous URL, which are still causing confusion. And left on the database.
I really appreciate your support and attention.
Thanks again 🙏🏼
Jorge de los Reyes i have assigned two senior engineers on this, they will reply back to you anytime soon.
Shifat Hossain thank you! I really appreciate that!
Shifat Hossain Interesting, never knew they had that also. I've been with them for a few years now running malcare and backups.
Migrated my first server from RunCloud last evening. So far so good! Would be nice to be able to edit the Litespeed and NGiNX configs from the GUI per site and server-wide, or maybe I just haven't found it yet. Would love to see a Google Tag Manager server as a one-click install as well!
Ryan Waterbury I think you can add custom config per site for nginx.
Ryan Waterbury you can add custom nginx, sharing the doc here : https://xcloud.host/docs/configure-custom-nginx-xcloud/
Same type of scenario for OLS?
Ryan Waterbury for OLS its a bit different and yes we can add support from ui too for this. for now to set any custom headers you need to modify this file vhconf.server.conf
the file can be found from here:
/usr/local/lsws/conf/vhosts/tstr.io/vhconf.server.conf
Shifat Hossain Thank you! I rarely touch the config, but do on occasion adjust the security headers, or more typically add them when they are missing in a base OLS install. Keep up the good work!
I have mixed feelings. After migrating from Rapyd Hosting to xCloud (a Vultr server), the site is lagging terribly, CPU usage is almost constantly at 100%, and there are a ton of plugin issues (including with the Fluent plugins).
I switched to a slightly smaller server, following advice from one of the live sessions, but the differences are minimal. On the previous setup, CPU was around 10% and RAM 30–40%. Here it’s 90–110% CPU and 80–90% RAM.
I still need to monitor and try some optimizations, but right now it’s not looking great.
And the support is an absolute disaster. They took six(!) days to respond to my last ticket, which can be catastrophic when you need server support.
I’m hopeful this can be sorted out—I invested in and believed in the LTD campaign…
Michal Paczula I agree that their support is way too slow
Hi Michal Paczula
I’m really sorry to hear about the rough experience, and thank you for sharing this so openly.
Over the last few days, our support response was unfortunately slower than usual as we had reduced staff availability due to Eid holidays in our region. We were prioritizing only the most critical server-level tickets during that time. That said, we’re now fully back on track, and I can assure you this isn’t our usual standard.
We’ve actually invested heavily in technical support since our launch, not just for server-level issues, but also for things like domain setups, plugin conflicts, and even WordPress-level troubleshooting — all at no extra cost and all human support. We even offer free unlimited site migration. That’s quite unique for a server management panel, and something we’re proud to offer.
Still, we hear you. Your experience matters, and we’re actively scaling up our support operations to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Starting next month, Florian D. , I believe you’ll notice a significant improvement in our response times and coverage too.
Michal Paczula – If possible, I’d also love to know more about your current server resource usage vs your previous setup (like on Rapyd). That might help us pinpoint any inefficiencies and recommend optimizations that could get your site back to smooth performance. Please share your ticket ID if possible. I will also be cross-checking with the team on this.
We’re committed to making this right and truly hope we can turn your experience around.
Shifat Hossain Thank you for your response.
So, my support history looks like this. First, there was a ticket regarding the migration—#4173—just look at how long it took to get an answer. Then, out of the blue, I was told the migration was starting. With no warning about whether it was a good time, they simply pulled my live server during Poland’s peak hours after a few days. The migration process itself clearly needs improvement. I had also reported that the server was malfunctioning, but all I got back was “just enable the Pro plugins” (sic!).
Then I filed another ticket—#4256. After informing them again that the server was running extremely slowly, I received a curt reply: “CPU usage is 100%; please optimize your resources.” Come on—that’s exactly why I’m reporting the issue! :) Then I was left hanging without any follow-up for over twelve hours. During that time:
- The site crashed about 7–8 times (each outage lasting roughly 30 minutes due to server overload).
- The chat support was useless (either nobody responded, or the AI told me to open (sic!) yet another ticket, which again went unanswered).
And the problem remains unresolved.
I’ve since upgraded my Vultr server to ELITE, which has helped a LITTLE, but there’s still a major issue. For example, I see only about 30% resource usage, yet the site is still painfully slow.
My previous setup on RAPYD was a Single Startup 2 (details here: https://rapyd.cloud/pricing). On paper, the specs aren’t much different, and that configuration ran the site quite smoothly.
Given the Fluent–xCloud partnership, I expected improved performance and rock-solid operation—right now it’s anything but.
Of course, I understand it’s the holidays. But servers don’t care about holidays, and neither do critical outages. In server-side customer support, when a site goes down, I should be assisted within minutes—not after one or two (or more!) days.
I really believe in Fluent’s products, though I have my concerns. I want to believe that xCloud can deliver a working solution. On LIVE this was touted as a deal breaker—right now for me it’s a business breaker, because for the last two days all I’ve had is a non-functioning portal.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this detailed feedback. First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and disruption you’ve experienced. This is certainly not the onboarding experience we want anyone to have with xCloud, especially not someone who believes in what we’re building.
You’re absolutely right that during a live migration, communication is key. While we typically migrate using a staging/demo domain so that the live site remains unaffected, we clearly missed the mark in your case by not aligning timing and expectations. We’ll make sure this is reviewed internally so migrations are never triggered without clear consent from the user going forward.
Regarding performance, it’s important to clarify that xCloud itself does not consume your server resources. If you’re still seeing slowness despite only 30% average usage post-upgrade, it often points to specific queries, plugins, or caching layers not behaving as expected. We’ve found that with proper full-page and object caching enabled, performance issues reduce significantly, even on lower-tier servers. That said, just telling you to “optimize” without guidance isn’t helpful, and we take responsibility for that missed opportunity to support you better. I can see the support agents are communicating you via ticket now.
About the tickets—you’re absolutely justified in feeling let down by delayed follow-ups. Our support was indeed active throughout the holidays, but we prioritized tickets marked as critical first. Clearly, your case was critical, and I’m sorry we didn’t treat it with the urgency it deserved.
I’ve flagged your case for deeper review, and our team will follow up with actionable next steps, including:
- A deeper look into what could be causing the ongoing slowness
- Proper analysis of your server logs and performance metrics
- A caching & plugin audit to rule out any bottlenecks
Your trust, especially coming from the Fluent community, means a lot to us, and I truly hope we can regain it by solving this properly. Thank you for giving xCloud a chance despite these early bumps.
We’re here and ready to make it right.
Michal Paczula If you have the High CPU or RAM usage that because of some php scripts taking up those. So you may find out which plugins are using those CPUs. xCloud does not run any extra processes which takes CPU / RAM. All it do, to install and configure the LEMP stack efficiently and taking care other staffs. It only make connection when you perform an action on the panel. So it's kinda like a UI layer between your server and the xCloud Panel.
Shifat Hossain Thank you for your reply. I would appreciate a thorough investigation of the issue and assistance in configuring the server so that it’s at least as usable as it was on Rapyd Hosting. Unfortunately, I’m not a server specialist, which is why I asked during the live session with xCloud LTD whether you help users like me achieve a stable, fully functional environment. In these matters I have to rely on specialists, and I’m hoping for a good end result. I look forward to your next steps (and, hopefully, progress).
Shahjahan Jewel I don’t entirely agree with the above. I’m running WordPress with:
- the Fluent ecosystem (Community, CRM, Booking, Form, Auth, Support, and Board) plus Better Messages for chat communication
- WooCommerce + Woo Sub (which I hope to replace with Fluent Cart)
- Event Calendar + Ticket (which I hope to replace with Fluent Booking—I asked about ticketing on the forum but got no reply :( )
- Yoast SEO
And that’s basically it, generally speaking—which you’ll agree isn’t especially resource-heavy for a Community with around 300 active users.
Besides, on my previous host this setup ran quite smoothly, but here, after migration, it’s a disaster. You’ll admit that, given all this, I have every right to look for the “culprit” in the migration process and/or xCloud’s performance :)
Michal Paczula if I was you I would replace Yoast with something lighter i.e SEO Framework.
Shifat Hossain I asked this before but never got an answer. I have a site running Premium URL Shortener
Would you guys be able to migrate this?
Jeff Brigman sorry if I missed it before. We can easily create any php sites from codecanyon scripts using our custom php site creation method. Please have a look here: https://xcloud.host/docs/deploy-custom-php-applications-with-xcloud/
Feel free to reach our support anytime and we can do it for you too easily.
Shifat Hossain I've made multiple attempt so deploy that script, migrate my existing site, and more without success. I get errors or white pages.
I did contact support and while I got a response it seems like they forgot about it.
hi Jeff Brigman
just checked with the team, they cannot ssh the source server with your credentials. please check if you have any regional blockings or any other security layers. when you are available please reply back to ticket.
thank you
Shifat Hossain they were able to get in. That's the last site out of 14 that I have on that VPS to migrate, and the oddball because it's not a wordpress site.
Shifat Hossain thank you sir for your folks doing this. I will make some final checks monday and then make it live.
Shifat Hossain I can't say thank you enough. I have pushed the site to live and updated the domain url in the database, and it seems to be good. This was the last big site I needed moved that I couldn't seem to do myself. In a few days I will drop a review since I've had time to use it now.
Jeff Brigman glad to help you and please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything.
I do not quite understand this deal, Shifat from xCloud Host 160 Shifat from xCloud Host , having taken over a number of servers on CloudWays. What is the advantage of moving to xCloud? Will it save me money? I pay CloudWays roughly $200 per month now. How does this work with xCloud? Lifetime deal but also still costs for running the servers?
Hi Marjan Crabtree
xCloud offers mainly two services.
-
xCloud Managed Server: Comes with monthly pricing based on server resources just like Cloudways offer. But our regular pricing is almost 50% less and we use VULTR HF servers for xCloud managed servers.
Check comparison and pricing xCloud vs Cloudways here:
https://xcloud.host/xcloud-vs-cloudways/ -
Self Managed Server: Here users bring their own server in our platform and connects it to manage and setup. For this they pay hosting bills on their hosting provider end like digital ocean, vultr, gcp or aws and pay server management fee $5 per server each month.
If they manage more than 10 servers in xCloud then this decreases to $3 per server each month. So here, by paying LTD package users will pay us one time for the management fee.
Also, we are giving exclusive discounts for our LTD holders on our xCloud managed hosting. If they create xCloud server with LTD balance then they get access to another option which we call xCloud provider servers with almost 10% discount and that is less than VULTR regular pricing too. So in long run you are actually saving a lot if you hosts many servers
You can find more here: https://xcloud.host/docs/xcloud-provider-for-ltd-users/
Please let me know if you need any further help and I will be glad to explain in more detail.
Thank you
Shifat Hossain Thank you for that. I am still confused how the LTD fits in here? I find Cloudways pricing very unclear so find it hard to compare. Can I move my existing Cloudways servers to xCloud? I have one Linode and 2 Vulture servers.
Marjan Crabtree if you want we can have a live call or meeting. We will try to explain everything. Let me know how does it sound and when you are available this week.
Shifat from xCloud Host that would be great. I am in New Zealand, what time zone are you?
Shifat from xCloud Host I sent you a private message 3 days ago. Could you please respond?
Can we use it with Home servers also? I was think to setup my own servers for hosting my websites and use xCloud for management instead of WHM/ cPanel. Does this fit this use case?
If yes will we get any discount on LTD being Fluent Community members?
Hi Mansoor Khan, yes, you can absolutely use xCloud with your own home server! As long as it’s a fresh Ubuntu server (we support 22.x and 24.x), you can install xCloud and use it just like any other VPS. In fact, we already have users running their own physical hardware and managing everything through xCloud without any issues.
Here’s a helpful guide to get started:
👉 Migrate an Existing WordPress Website in xCloud
Regarding the LTD — this current deal is an exclusive one-time offer for the Fluent Community, made possible by our partner and investor Shahjahan Jewel . We haven’t run any public LTD offers since our launch (not even on last Black Friday), and there are no plans to reintroduce it in the future. So while there are no additional discounts, the deal you’re seeing is already significantly better than anything that may come later, if at all.
Let us know if you need help setting up your home server. We will be happy to assist!
Shifat Hossain Thank you. Do you have a step by step guide to setup my own hosting servers from scratch with xCloud?
Mansoor Khan we are not hardware experts but we can help when your server is ready. We can help with connecting with your platform.
