I have a client with a smoothie shop. we loaded Paymattic on her site. she wants to offer some type of subscription and she does not know what to do and I dont know what to suggest!!! HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
I setup the first domain with ToSend and made a video of my first test with using ToSend and FluentSMTP.
https://youtu.be/4T9imsj-q5Y
The video is set to public so anyway can see it.
Based on this initial test. It was easy to setup. Well easy because I have some experience in using the DNS Zone Editor and setting up providers with FluentSMTP. But it shows a straight forward way of how I did this. I plan to set up multiple customers to give this a good "stress test" so to speak.
- What I missed was having documentation somewhere visible. Perhaps even in the Support screen. (Support link in the top right corner)
- Setting up a FluentSMTP I do not know which of the two I have setup is one and which is two. If it even matters. So the initial one is using default PhP and my own email address. The second is with ToSend using the wordpress@domainname addresss. This gave me some hesitation.
Bottom line this worked out very well!
Some time ago, during several deep conversations with team members, an idea came to mind.
We often hear two recurring requests from the community:
- More tutorials on the YouTube channel.
- Deeper and more frequent communication about whatβs actually happening behind the scenes.
These topics came up especially during the FluentCart launch: a period where the team was working day and night.
Yet, only a small part of the user base was truly aware of it.
- Publicly: there was little to no information. And claims for info were everywhere.
- Privately: the team was delivering at full speed, under real pressure, doing an incredible amount of work.
And as the saying goes on social media: if you donβt post it, it doesnβt exist.
It was a pity to see all the hardwork being taken for granted because there was no public info or picture of the situation.
Back then, I suggested something simple but powerful:
a recurring βoffice vlogβ format: This week in the office or This month at Fluent.
This format is widely used by large companies, not only to show whatβs cooking in the kitchen, but also to:
- humanize the team,
- show real work in progress,
- and improve trust and alignment with users.
Seeing many team members now sharing Authlab Connect 2025 brought that idea back to my mind.
More and more users are asking for visibility:
what is being worked on, what the timelines look like, whatβs coming next.
A monthly wrap-up or similar format could help enormously.
It creates perspective, lowers anxiety, and improves the overall communication climate.
Think about a restaurant or a train station:
waiting is frustrating when thereβs silence.
But when you can see the kitchen working, or the operators actively solving an issue, the experience changes completely: even if the wait remains the same.
And finally, to be completely honest:
weβve become extremely spoiled with the ninjas. Receiving updates every 15 days is not normal: itβs exceptional. Weβve simply internalized it as the standard.
Your fault mates! π₯·π€£
That said, since the focus has always been customer-oriented, I believe itβs worth bringing this idea back to the table.
This community just hangs when navigating or refreshing at least 10% of the time, I would say. And about 50% of the time, when I click post or reply, it spins for 10 second, gives an error, then click again and it always works, on the second try. Just wondering if I am the only one this is happening to.
I have been playing with this idea of having a unified system within WordPress, utilizing the Fluent stack. I like unification and easy platforms, so I decided to make a thing.
I call it "Holy Connector" for now, which its main goal is to unify (in some sense) Fluent CRM, Fluent Bookings, Twilio, & Eleven Labs to create 1 unified system for an auto AI call agent, bookings through Fluent, tracked with FluentCRM, manageable and viewable in a unified dashboard.
Idea is simple:
Inbound Calls or Forms > AI Calls > Bookings and tracking with Fluent > Unified visibility > including Twilio SMS. (my brain ramble)
I know FluentCRM 3.0 is around the corner, but I figured it wouldn't hurt, and I wanted a solution now.
Let me know your thoughts! :) Is this something anyone would find value in?
Now that there is an awesome suite of Fluent Products. It would be great if we could tag @fluentCRM, @fluentForms, etc. when we're talking about some big business decision concerns.
For example, in this thread, it would be great if we could get responses from the team: https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/space/fluent-crm/post/the-truth-about-slow-sending-it-s-not-j
Some of us actually use the community to try and figure things out instead of bombarding support. It seems it would be much more effective if you actually had a support team member(s) coming and looking at some of the complex issues.
I would love to be able to ditch WPCodebox for FluentSnippets...but, a SCSS compiler is the one thing stopping me. Anyone else?
Who have tested already? Anyone??
Hi Jewel. I love the FluentBooking 2025 at a Glance - do you have this for al the plugins? I love to read them.
Hello! I just wanted to share a product idea that you could develop, and it fits perfectly with the entire Fluent ecosystem. I'd love to have a system for hosting live webinars that integrates seamlessly with the entire Fluent ecosystem. I currently use WebinarJam, which is excellent, but since I already have so much Fluent software, I'd love to have one that integrates with the whole Fluent ecosystem and my Fluent community.
