Happy New Year, and wishing you a great year ahead π
Always on fire π₯
OMG π± Recurring bookings is going to make my life so much easier! Finally! Thank you!
Fix of 100% Coupon is awesome, thank you.... what about an event-series, where i can set a few dates, where students have to attend events and with one booking, they book the whole series? something like that on the roadmap?
Manuel MΓΌllerΒ Currently itβs possible by recurring events. If you enable Require All Occurrences, attendees must book all recurring events at once.
Every item flawless the private product integration tho π₯
The only thing I see missing is that there is no option to set a Recurring Event manually in the backend...
Assaf ManorΒ We will try to include it in the next release. Thank you!
Raiyan MarzanΒ Great thank you! Another thing - now if you set a maximum number of occurrences that user can book that also sets this as the default number of occurrences the user sees in the calendar upon booking.
If you could please add a field so the admin could choose what the default number of occurrences the user sees. For instance, I set the maximum for a calendar at 10, but I would like the user would see a default of 1.
Following this - another important feature is that it wouldn't default it to have recurring meeting booked in the calendar for the user. But he could click on a button labeled "Book as Recurring" and then he'd be asked how many occurrences he would like to set.
Assaf ManorΒ Thank you for your suggestions. I will pass this to the team.
It progresses nicely towards something usable in the fluent universe.. it lacks a dashboard that brings together the various plugins to simply access it without having 5-6 different pages per account or having to manipulate code...
It would be nice to have a single page that allows you to display the various plugins as a client. Because opening 2-3-4 different pages is complicated and really not user friendly.
AmarokSpiritΒ Hello, thats something that we always felt as well as a missing point.
Currently we are working on a zoho one alternative ((bringing the unified experience of Zoho One into the fluent ecosystem via our upcoming plugin - ultimatefluent.com)
Atm, we started the discussion regarding a native mobile app, but we have in sights the same unified experience, for desktop view too.
I talked a bit about it here:
https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/space/fluent-cart/post/fluentcart-native-application-what-do
If you like what we do, you can join the waitlist, for web, mobile or boths and we will let you know the moment we release it (probably in this quorter)
Another thought, capability to toggle on and off the sections on the event page personally I am using a custom location set as Email Delivery I have a ton of ideas lol
Would it be possible to set a fixed price for 'all recurrences'? Like a package? Or is it always 'X per occurence'?
Also, I think UX needs a bit work.
It's not clear which dates I'm booking when it's recurring. Because it only displays the single date I'm picking from the calendar. But all dates should be displayed, even before the checkout.
The confirmation email didn't include all the dates either, only a single date and not even the first date, but the last date (?).
And this selection can also be confusing for users: "Every week for X occurrence". That number input might be ignored by users. Maybe it would be better to include that selection in the "Enter Details" step? There is no calculated limit for this number input either. I mean, yes, it doesn't allow selecting a number that's over the total limit, but when I book the date from the middle of the event series (not the first date), I easily go over the max limit, prompting "This selected time slot is not available. Maybe someone booked the spot just a few seconds ago", but the user doesn't know how many occurrences there are left. In fact, I can pick the LAST slot while having 7 occurrences selected, resulting in an error.. That's why maybe it's better to include that number input in the "Enter Details" part. By first selecting IF I want to book recurring at all, and if YES, pick a number.
Madis MarkΒ Currently pricing is based on the selected occurrences, not a fixed package for all recurrences. Improving the UX for recurring bookings is already in our roadmap and planned for an upcoming release. Thank you for the suggestions.
Note: You can display all booking dates in the confirmation email using the All Bookings shortcodes.
This is awesome. But there is something many hava always needed: a trigger event related to an email reminder (the ones you set time) That would guve us the chance not only to send email reminders but also use other ways to remind people (IE Whatsapp)
I really don't want to use Fluent Forms+Fluent Booking to do this. It beeds to be something native.
cool
wish that bookings could do events like a campout or other things that need a bit more than just forms can do...
Has anyone successfully setup recurring bookings that subtract the correct number of occurrences from the spots available for a group event type? With my first run of FluentBooking 2.0 in production, I should've done more testing before going live π .
With the max number of occurrences set to 4 and a maximum of 10 spots per class, I had some unexpected behavior.
When any individual user booked 4 occurrences of the 1x/week class, 4 spots appeared to be subtracted from the first class occurrence and 0 spots were taken from the other 3 appointments in the series. So after just two users booked 4, 1/x week occurences, there were only 2 spots left in the first class. And 0 spots were subtracted from the remaining 3 classes in the series.
I'll put in a formal ticket shortly.
Yeah, this seems to be a bug π. Raiyan MarzanΒ Shahjahan Jewel, can someone look into the issue of spots not being subtracted correctly? As you can see in the Loom video linked below, the first user I booked with correctly subtracted 1 spot from each of the 4 occurrences in the series.
However, once I add additional users booking multiple occurrences, it looks like spots are only being subtracted from the first occurrence of the series.
Jon PhillipsΒ Thanks for reporting. I will have a look into it.
Hi all, I'm facing a weird error.
After the 2.0 update, I am unable to make manual (admin) bookings using the previously created calendars that have a price.
- Works fine for the customers (on the frontend)
- Doesn't work with calendars from the previous version
- Doesn't work if I clone an existing calendar either
It looks like something with the payment settings, because I don't have a problem with the free services.
But I only enabled offline payments. (no stripe or any other)
This is the error I got on the screen (all fields are filled, obviously)
, and this is the error in the console:
/wp-json/fluent-booking/v2/bookings/create/22 403 (Forbidden)
Ferenc TorokΒ Thanks for reporing! We will address this in the upcoming release.
Update: After I rolled back to 1.10.02, everything works fine.
Raiyan MarzanΒ for some reason I can not get 100% free coupon to work π
What am I missing?
Natascha VantuykomΒ Could you please create a support ticket so that I can have a look?
Fluent booking is a beast π
