E-signature opportunity?

Fluent Forms already collects signatures, but there appears to be an opportunity for a complete self-hosted document execution system within the Fluent ecosystem: reusable agreement templates populated from Fluent Forms, multiple signers, sequential signing, signer authentication, immutable audit trails, tamper-evident completed PDFs, certificates of completion, automatic FluentCRM tagging/automation, reminders, expiry, and secure document storage. Existing WordPress solutions such as ApproveMe are relatively expensive and don't integrate naturally with Fluent Forms, while newer competitors are now specifically targeting Fluent integrations. A native Fluent solution could keep the entire agreement workflow inside the WPManageNinja ecosystem. πŸ’‘ Shahjahan JewelΒ

You may find this thread (and the comments) interesting. The team has already said it’s not their intention to enter into the legal compliance field with fluent forms πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ

PS.: I would love to see this implemented some day tbh!

Me too, Jorge de los Reyes I trust WPManageNinja and know that whatever they create will serve me well. I'm not sure they fully grasp the need for something like this as an add-on to the Fluent ecosystem. It's a real headache to find something else that is as trustworthy and dependable. Shahjahan Jewel You all ROCK! ✨✨✨

Jean Hamilton-Fford 100%! That trust is exactly what makes this such a compelling opportunity.

E-signatures are just one of the many capabilities that could serve service-based and B2B businesses incredibly well.

As the community grows, it’s becoming increasingly clear that WPManageNinja has a huge opportunity to build a deeply integrated ecosystem for this space:

β€’ A dedicated service product type in FluentCart, with milestones, roadmaps, deliverables, and service status
β€’ Sales pipelines in FluentCRM (coming)

β€’ Email piping for transactional emails (coming)

β€’ E-signatures (one day… πŸ₯²)

β€’ Quotes, proposals, and invoicing

β€’ A client portal tab for contracts, invoices, files, and project status

β€’ Time tracking and billable hours

β€’ Recurring services and retainers

β€’ Tasks and project management linked to clients and deals

β€’ Automated onboarding and offboarding workflows

Ideally, it would all connect end to end:

Lead β†’ opportunity β†’ proposal β†’ signature β†’ payment β†’ onboarding β†’ service delivery β†’ invoicing β†’ renewal.

Piece by piece, this is starting to look like a remarkably complete operating system for service-based businesses.

At this rate, we may accidentally end up with a full ERP πŸ˜‚

Jorge de los Reyes THAT, a full ERP, would be certainly something to celebrate and would keep WPManageNinja on the board as the premier ecosystem to use. One step at a time, I suppose and there are only so many weekends for Shahjahan Jewel to use. What a fabulous opportunity! ✨🌻😊

I would love to see that.

I do like Fluent Forms, but I can't collect client information without appropriate and legally defensible consent. My understanding is that even with the paid cosmetic signature add-on, Fluent Forms does not have the capability to facilitate consent documentation (or any other legal signature) at this time. Maybe when it can print a copy of the form my client saw and signed, and not just a record of the back-end attributes. Until then, I have to rely on another tool to collect signatures before I can use Fluent Forms and Community, etc.

So, +1 for this feature or any approximation of it!
