I'm still using Visual Builder for Campaigns

Am I the only one who still builds email campaigns using the visual builder instead of the Gutenberg Block Editor?

I've tried using the new editor several times, but I keep running into a couple of issues.

  1. I find it much more cumbersome when it comes to formatting text, adjusting spacing, font sizes, and similar details.

  2. More importantly, even when everything looks fine in the editor, the final email can be rendered very differently depending on the email client.

For example, the text may look huge in one client and perfectly fine in another. Sometimes even within the same email, some parts appear normal while others become much smaller, especially bullet lists.

So I'm wondering if there's something I'm still missing, or if other people are experiencing the same issues with the Block Editor.

Is everyone else happily using it, while I'm the only one still sticking with the visual builder?

Any tips, settings, or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

I feel you... I'm trying to get used to the Gutenberg Block Editor, but I'm facing the same issues that you've described. I'm thinking of going back to the Visual Builder, but I'm afraid that they'll discontinue it at some point. Shahjahan Jewel  Will the Visual Builder still be supported and maintained in the future? Jose F I'm here in the community researching this question now: will the visual builder continue to be supported? Not getting on at all with the Gute designer inside email, tbh, and not wanting to commit to the CRM if the visual builder is planned to go.

Jose F I can't speak for the team, obv, but after reading through the threads here - I don't have much hope for the future of the visual builder. Recalculating...

Charlotte I'll be devastated if it goes. Maybe they can open source it and some of us can keep it alive. It's literally the primary reason for me using fCRM (which I see as an email took rather than an actual CRM). I came from AcyMailing and the visual builder was revelation at the time. I don't even use Gutenberg for wordpress so not a fan of it's use across fluent products either :/

Jose F I hope so too. I'd be lost without it and the quality of our newsletters would face a dramatic fall.

Best tip: STOP using styles on emails... EVERY ESP and email client will interpret emails as it wants/is developed. So it's an unworthy battle stylizing emails. Better than that use your time trying to CONVERT with worthy content and better copy/strategies.

On my experience, the simpler, the better.
