Fluent CRM VS Bit CRM

I'm starting this topic because I imagine many people here will be talking about it. Since yesterday, a new CRM has been launched on WordPress. I had never heard of this company, but I just discovered that they have several plugins, though with few active installs β€” notably a Bit Form plugin, Bit SMTP, Bit Social, etc. (none of them exceeds 10K installs).

And since yesterday: a CRM. This new CRM is called Bit CRM: https://bit-crm.com/

I discovered its release through this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRp3ymZy39Y

They even made a page comparing it with FluentCRM: https://bit-crm.com/compare/fluentcrm-vs-bit-crm/

Basically, they've done what some of us have been recommending on FluentCRM: a real CRM. Because until now, FluentCRM has been more of an (and best in class) emailing and marketing automation tool rather than a complete CRM β€” as it's missing some features like lead management, deals/sales pipeline, company management and contacts organized by company, etc. Bit CRM has done it. FluentCRM can do it too πŸ‘

Bit CRM looks well built. I haven't tested it, but the demo video is quite thorough. I think Bit CRM is a good model to follow. They even include management of products, meetings, calls, etc. I like the dashboard home displaying leads / contacts / companies / deals, deals pipeline, leads by source...

The current limitation of Bit CRM is that it only connects with WooCommerce, but their roadmap indicates they'll soon be integrated with FluentCart, SureCart, etc.

FluentCRM needs to catch up and become a complete CRM.

A CRM needs to manage and display the complete flow: capture leads (with FluentForms), manage leads / contacts / companies, manage deals via kanban / list view, manage products / services, manage invoices.

Bit CRM even includes standalone products / invoices management (outside any ecommerce plugin), but I think FluentCRM should be deeply integrated with FluentCart to show directly on a company profile: who the associated contacts are, what the company's invoices are, what total revenue has been billed to that company β€” and the ability to invoice directly from the company profile.

Two possible modes need to be distinguished: B2C and B2B. Those who only have B2C customers won't activate the B2B mode. But everyone who works with professional clients, agencies, etc. needs the B2B mode. You don't invoice a contact, you invoice a company.

What do you think?

I did not check the features yet. But we are going to Sale Pipeline with better integration with Cart, direct mail inbox very soon. We are almost at the last stage. Will open up beta in the next 1-2 weeks.

Karl Emil Nikka

Shahjahan Jewel Great news! Will the inbox be IMAP based or require setting up a Lambda function in AWS (like FluentSupport)?

Shahjahan Jewel

Karl Emil NikkaΒ We will try to do with IMAP,

Karl Emil Nikka

yes inbox! 😍

Can't wait!

So excited! haha

Looks like BCRM is a traditional Sales CRM with no email marketing capabilities (similar to Pipedrive and the likes). FCRM is an email marketing platform with no traditional sales CRM capabilities (similar to Kit and the likes).

Two totally different offerings.

Nice to see a SaaS sales CRM WordPress based alternative though.

Invoices and client portal, huh? πŸ€”

Bit's developer is around here. A couple of years ago I bought Bit Integrations, and worked well, BUT I made the change to Pabbly Connect because Bit Integrations was ONLY WordPress integrations (not external integrations), at least on first stage.

Surely Bit CRM will capture some segment of people and my best wishes for them, BUT FCRM still being leader on it's class.

I've been patient waiting for many features of FCRM (for six years) and still believing on Shahjahan JewelΒ and team. FCRM is my crown's jewel πŸ’Ž

None tool cover EVERY feature everyone wants. One of the things make a faithful WPMN customer is the constant growth and development.

To those who are new users of FCRM and miss these features like sales pipeline, IMAP unified inbox, etc... I can say that you're so young... When I came here everything was a mountain... LOL

Jose Luis DuronΒ yes i agree the Fluent suite is the best on WP - by far, let's keep it that way πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Reporting back here - I've actually made the jump into Bit CRM, and I had to buy Bit Flows for a zoom integration a while back, so I'm testing a bunch of ways to integrate the two products right now. They say they're working on a FluentCart integration right now, and Bit Flows has tight integration with Fluent ecosystem already, so there's a lot of possibility. The pipeline is great and all, but the things that I'm really interested in seeing developed on the Fluent side are direct IMAP/SMTP email and being about to send SMS out of there too.

One thing that's a major gap for me as an agency is being able to generate proposals/templated contracts etc, but I'm looking into Fluent Forms to bridge that gap so I can HOPEFULLY start running tight fully automated productized onboarding and delivery. Crossing fingers it works for me, and if it does, I'll be rolling it out to clients as a replacement for the GHL ecosystem, since that's a terrible tool.

If I could have all of the little elements that they added here in FCRM I'd be over the moon.

Nicolas D

Richard ShermanΒ Thanks for your feedback! So, based on your experience with Bit CRM, what features would you like to see in FluentCRM that Bit CRM already has?

Richard Sherman

Nicolas DΒ The most impactful part to me is the client portal + communication tools. That's the biggest gap between all of these "crm" solutions that aren't Hubspot. For me, the ABSOLUTE dream is to be able to use Fluent Cart/Boards/CRM/Community/Support as my full client management stack all the way from lead to happy client. Give them each access to their own individual dashboard, and be able to track the deal, communication, let them buy the service/etc right there and book their onboarding, all in the same platform like hubspot does.

Bit CRM is light, but is moving that direction, and being able to send invoices and purchase links in the same place that clients can see communication and deal info is a really solid step in the right direction.

Nicolas D

Richard ShermanΒ For the client portal, that would be FluentCart account within the Fluent suite, combined with FluentSupport and FluentBoards so clients can track their projects. "Full client management stack all the way from lead to happy client" > couldn't agree more, the Fluent team is definitely heading in that direction πŸ‘Deals pipeline is coming soon !

I haven't tested it, but the demo video is quite thorough. I think Bit CRM is a good model to follow.

Personally, I don’t think it’s very well designed. It looks polished on the surface, but beyond that, there are tons of unnecessary clicks (and other things) required to accomplish even basic tasks.

The standout BitCRM features for me were its public invoicing options and email piping. Aside from those, I didn’t see much that set it apart. Overall, it felt half-baked and somewhat hastily put together.

I really wanted to invest $$$ into the LTD but after I sat back, looked at my notes, I realized they need another 500+ hours of development to even be considered an S-tier CRM imo.

It’ll be interesting to follow the changelog and see what integrations they add. Since the initial release was only on August 3, 2026, I think it’ll need at least six months to a year of development before I’d consider using it myself. I did enjoy the well-written blog post about BitCRMβ€”it was helpful even for me, since I wanted to make sure I understood the platform as thoroughly as possible.

Saw BitCRM today, too and was intrigued. Especially the option of a client portal sounds great. But then I saw, that there isn't a mailing-option (yet) and even in their comparison they explicitly say, that FCRM and BCRM are two completely different tools, each with their own strengths.

Additionally I asked them, if they plan to build a native integration with FluentCommunity as well, and that doesn't seem to be the case. Instead it might / will be possible with Bit Flows and Bit Integrations. So another plugin would be needed.
