Variable product bug.
When we have 2 options like box colors (example red and blue) and then within that I have various card colors like black and gray then if I make the first option in card color ie black from the red box inactive then the entire red box shows grayed out. This happens if I only make inactive the first choice. Also being able to reorder values in options would be great.
Alan DabreoΒ This is expected behavior when the selected options have no active combination. Since Red / Black is inactive, FluentCart disables Red while Black is selected. If Red / Gray is active, selecting Gray should make Red available.
You can set an active combination, such as Red / Gray, as the Default Variant in the productβs Publishing Settings so customers see an available option when they first open the page.
To reorder option values, go to FluentCart Pro β Products β Attributes, select the attribute, and drag the handle beside a value. Click Save when youβre done. Advanced Variations guide
ok I think I could not explain this well enough so here goes. Lets look at just the red box for now and ignore the second box which is blue. It has a few cards in it like Black grey green blue and pink.I may chose pink and green as the options I want to display but because the first item in the list is black and I have made the first item ie black inactive the entire red box is not selectable in the first step.ie it is grayed out. So now I can click only on the blue box and chose options in it.If I now make the black active then I can see the black pink and green as my options. It is just that the first choice in the list has to always be selected. One workaround is to have the item I want to select right at the top in this case pink or green. This is not always possible because in another combination I may not want to pick pink or green.
