Possible Bug in FluentCart Customer Name
I'm not sure whether this is a bug or expected behavior. I'm doing a test on a client site and made a purchase. I entered the full name and email address in the checkout modal.
In FluentCart, the name field says what I entered on the Shipping and Billing address in Orders. However, the actual name in Customers, and also in FluentCRM, is the name associated with the email account. I used one of my emails where the name is Test Customer. That's what appears in FluentCRM and FluentCart.
The only place the other name appears that I entered during checkout is as I said Shipping & Billing addresses.
I have a video of this issue and I'll open a ticket with FluentCart support to verify if this should be the case or not. Just thought I'd drop it here, too.
William Beem Check If you're logged in while testing, Fluentcart will default to the logged in name/email address rather than the name/email address entered in checkout form.
Debo OgunrindeΒ Thanks. I had the test open in an incognito window to avoid that, but I overlooked one key problem.
Although I deleted the contact for this account before testing, I failed to delete the WordPress user. That's why I got the result I mentioned above.
