Local File Driver Does Not Work

I prefer Cloudflare R2 over AWS S3, so I waited for the implementation of R2 as an alternative to S3 and used local files for the start. However, this always causes a 404 (local driver not configured correctly - what can I do wrong with ticking a checkmark?). I was unable to get local file system for products to work. So I switched to S3 again for the time being. That worked, but I wonder what’s wrong with the file system?

We will take a look and we will make sure it's working in the next version.

Hello AndrΓ© Daus, I checked from our side, and it seems to be working fine. Could you guide me on how to replicate the issue?

Ripon SarkarΒ I just used local file system, enabled it and uploaded a file. When the user wanted to download it from the account page, it showed a FluentCart 404 (not my custom 404) error.

Because that did not work, I enabled S3 storage and it worked from there. I just tried to switch back to local and now it seems to work from local on the same machine that had the issue before.

I don’t know if that has to do with enabling S3 storage. But I have problems from time to time. Like I was able to buy something from the store just fine, while on the other day (same store) it said that there is payment pending. This mainly happens with a 100% coupon.

This is all happening on a production site. I already excluded the relevant pages from caching. But that does not help. The store is currently offline and I only hand over direct checkout links to selected clients. Occurrence seems erratic, but the 404 was replicable and detected by a client.
