IDEA: Discount fees / alternative to a Credit system
I’ve seen here a couple of post about creating a credit system for FluentCart , and how this would be very complicated.
I just wanted to ask if, it could not be possible to create something similar to what Group of Affiliates does on Fluent Affiliate (create specific % for each affiliate, product, group, etc).
My use case is that I would like some groups of users (eg.: members of a subscription) to have a discount fee on the checkout once they enter they email (this is, user specific). I was thinking that this could be done automatically applying a coupon.
And also thought that this could also be an alternative for the credit system (that I guess, most users, are looking for, so as to apply discounts or fees).
Not sure if this could be possible (create inside FluentCart, groups of users (eg.: clients of a specific product) that can have coupons auto applied.

Completely different things!
But, I’m thinking that probably a credit system will be “too much” dreaming 😂
Jorge de los Reyes I have discussed this with Jewel, and provided a proposition to create some sort of wallet payment gateway that integrates in several Fluent plugins. A points system for community and affilliates, credits for booking and support, and a store credit for woo or other shops (exchanging credits to a coupon or voucher). He said to me he talked about it with his team and moved it to R&D. So my hope is on that 🙂
Maybe if there are enough people with use cases, that would help make the descision.
I myself have 16 yogastudios in my hometown alone that are willing to be my customer if I can give them a creditsystem to book yogasessions

I would definitely be supporting the creation of a “third” category in addition to digital and physical products, that allows this kind of features. (Do not hesitate to check the surecart add on created by Nelson miller in case you do not know it and what kind of things it allows to do :) ).
Booking really needs improvement in Events, and a credit system will be super handy for selling packages for sure.

Among others, we work with yoga, sound therapy, psychology, legal, consultancy, retreats, coaching … (basically online service based businesses). And I am sure the needs will be pretty similar 😄
