Bundled Digital Product Out of Stock Incorrectly!
I have a bundled product made up of all my e-book and audiobook products. As an entirely digital product, I have no inventory management activated, as it can never go out of stock.
I sold one a few days ago, and now, testing, I discovered that the bundle is showing on the front end as "out of stock" when people try to add it to the cart, and nothing happens at all when they try to "buy now."
What is happening here?? Help!
This does seem to be a bug. I figured it out: it occurred because some of the products in the bundle have simple variations, and for some of those, one variation is a physical product with an inventory. On those products, it was treating the digital variations as if they only had an inventory of one, even though only the physical variation had a listed quantity... and, indeed, the digital variations were "greyed out."
I had to manually go in and give every digital product an inventory amount (10000000000), resave each product, resave the bundle, and clear the site cache. Now the bundle shows as being in stock again.
This seems like it should not be the desired default behavior, though, right?
