Shahjahan Jewel 10 days ago you said the shortcodes for all components would arrive that same week, so when the latest update came, I looked to find the shortcodes, and see only a few...
Am I missing something? Where can I find the shortcodes of all components?
I'm using ACF's Flexible Content blocks on my site. When I chose the "builder" for the long content block and then "Show Content Editor" I can add those Flexible Content blocks.
However when I then go to the page on the frontend and view the item. The pricing block and the image are no there anymore at the top.
Is there some sort of shortcode I need to use to show that at the top of the page again?
Working on a new client site upgrade using FluentCart. They're launching the next product in a few days. But when testing the checkout today, I get an error. (From Stripe?)
What is this?
The cart has one fixed-price product + an optional bump-offer for a monthly subscription.
Possible to get this analysed/fixed before Sunday? If not, I will have to revert everything and have them go back to the old solution.
Iβm using FluentCart for a membership with a staged pricing structure. The β¬59 startup fee (incl. 21% VAT) is intentionally used to lower the barrier to entry and make onboarding more accessible. After three months, the subscription continues at β¬19.95 per month.
However, in the current checkout Iβm running into two fundamental issues:
1) Lack of clarity about future payments
The customer only sees what they pay today (β¬59). There is no clear indication of:
- When the next payment will take place (specific date), and
- How much they will pay then (β¬19.95 per month).
For a subscription product, this isnβt a minor UX detail β itβs essential. In the Netherlands (and more broadly in the EU), customers are expected to be clearly informed about future financial commitments.
Ideally, the order summary should explicitly show something like:
βNext payment on [date]: β¬19.95 per month.β
Right now, the customer has to infer this themselves, which is poor for trust, compliance, and conversion.
2) Incorrect VAT display
The checkout currently shows:
βNL Standard Tax (Inclusive) β β¬0.00β
That is factually incorrect, because the β¬59 does include 21% VAT. The display suggests no tax is being charged, which is misleading and inconsistent with how Dutch customers expect pricing to be presented.
Why this matters
With the current setup, FluentCart is effectively not usable for subscriptions in the Dutch market. It doesnβt just look unprofessional β it also fails to meet reasonable expectations around transparency for recurring payments.
I find it hard to believe this would be considered acceptable in other markets either, but perhaps Iβm missing something.
Important note
Iβve already raised both of these issues with FluentCart support. Unfortunately, they indicated that a fix is not currently planned in the short term, which is why Iβm bringing this to the community.
Questions for the community / developers:
- Is this a known limitation?
- Are there plans to improve subscription clarity in the checkout?
- Is there a clean workaround that doesnβt require heavy custom code?
Would appreciate hearing how others are handling this.
I have tested a new shop, but I can not delete the testorders. I get error that I can not delete them because they have 'paid' status.
Is it safe to remove the orders from the database? And what tables are effected?
Has anyone successfully created shipping rules based on cart totals?
This is what I'm trying to achieve:
Β£10 shipping for orders under Β£44.99
Β£5 shipping for orders under Β£79.99
Free shipping for orders over Β£80
FluentCart 1.3.10 just dropped, and this one is a big step for anyone building stores with modern WordPress.
Full Site Editing (FSE) Support
FluentCart now officially supports FSE-compatible block themes. That means FluentCart blocks work correctly inside the Site Editor, headers, footers, global layout areas, and custom block-based templates. If you've been using a block theme and running into layout issues, this update fixes that.
New Gutenberg Blocks
We've added several new blocks to give you more control over your storefront layouts:
β’ Mini Cart Block: Place a live cart summary anywhere on your site. It shows item count and total, and updates automatically. Great for headers and sticky sections.
β’ Product Block: Drop individual products into custom layouts, landing pages, or curated sections.
β’ Product Carousel Block: Display selected products in a scrolling carousel. Perfect for featured items and promotions.
β’ Product Title Block: Display product titles independently with full control over typography and spacing.
β’ Product Image Block: Place product images anywhere in your layout without being locked into preset templates.
β’ Product Categories Shortcode: For those using the classic editor or mixed setups.
- All blocks (current and previous) have been updated to the Gutenberg Block API V3.
Fixes and Improvements
β’ Fixed missing tax breakdown in renewal emails
β’ Fixed missing VAT information on renewal orders
β’ Fixed dark/light theme conflict in add-ons promotion areas
β’ Fixed modal checkout responsive issues on smaller screens
β’ Added styles for shop toolbar and view switcher

We are shipping updates faster than ever, and I'm really excited about what's coming next. Some big things are in the pipeline. Stay tuned π
Hi Shahjahan Jewel, any ETA for the custom checkout form feature?
I really want to move from my actual config. to full Fluent product π
I want doubling the licenses for early purchasers. But how should I do this in FluentCart + combined with an monthly/annual plan?
I would have initially thought I could just create variations with the double limits, and then manually deactivate variations after a certain time period for new purchasers. But it doesn't seem that we can deactivate variations? I think this would be ideal...
So the other option is to just manually double the "activation limit" in the licensing tab for the product, and then lower it later. But I fear this might affect early subscribers who would be on the doubled tiers?
The last thing I can think of is to just create a separate product, which is the same product, but with double limits. I know that would work, but it is kind of cumbersome having to deal with two products now.
Thoughts?
I recall seeing that this has been in intermittent issue; I'm seeing it first-hand with the latest version of FluentCart Pro and the latest version of Bricks Builder:
Specifics: single product template Buy Section element only shows prices on variable pricing products. If a product has only one "version" (no variables), the price doesn't show.
This is (yet another) stop error. Is there a workaround that I can put in place now?
