"Your message wasn’t delivered because the recipient’s email provider rejected it.”
Does anyone know why this is happening on form submission using FlentSMTP?
Using Ninja Form on WP
That means, the receiver SMTP Server has rejected the email.
Shahjahan Jewel Hey, how do I fix this? It is for any form submission to gmail, Outlook, etc. However emails from the form to my domain work okay.
Josh Bashford What email sending service are you using? Contact with them. But most probably the receiving server has rejected your email and maybe they think the email is a spam or rejected by firewall for some reason.
Shahjahan Jewel I'm using Microsoft365 for this function.
Josh Bashford Is it your domain a new domain name? Is it warmed up your domain (have a good reputation?) Even if your SMTP provider is Gmail or Microsoft, your domain MUST have a good reputation.
This issue is unrelated to FluentCommunity; it's a deliverability problem. Ensure you are using FluentSMTP with an authenticated email provider under your domain.
There might be a few reasons for that
- Spam Factors (High Score) where recipients email provider might have flagged your message as spam (Black Friday campagn) with some specific keywords or CAPS, images/links, or suspicious attachments. Your emails probably get a high SPAM score.
- Sender Bad or No Reputation:
Your email address/domain/IP (new domain, new IP or bad shared IP neighborhood) - might be flagged as suspicious.
You can ask your recepients to whitelist your domain and use different domain if you want to I continue your BF marketing campagn. In you are m365 user you can contact Microsoft (https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/) (or other email providers) and send them details regarding your case/campagn (why you send bulk emails if applicable and how you are going to avoid SPAM factors in a future).
I am pretty sure that you know this but just consider some SPAM factors when building a beautiful email promo content and send it as marketing mass emails:
- Limit embeding widget with JS script or iframe
- Replace interactive elements - if this is a must just use one element at a time and pray for your audience to open your email, mark is a their favorite etc
- Minimize email weight "<100k" otherwise mail clients are about to show a button view all message
- Keep Image to text low ratio - email is not a landingpage
- Limit all kind of external links outside your sender IP
- Dont use crazy words or too many CAPS in the email body - try to avoid some common words:
