Wrapper App?
Has anyone used a wrapper app such as Median.co for their Community?
Is it just a PWA?
No it’s different from a PWA in that you download it from the App Store. From my understanding, it’s a native mobile app that loads your website inside of it, instead of rebuilding your whole platform as a native app.
The pros: Users download it from the App Store like a normal app and can receive push notifications.
The cons: You have to pay a onetime fee ($229 one time license fee), plus $100/year to Apple and a $25 one time fee to Google.
