What do you think about Shahjahan Jewel not wanting to develop a comment bookmarking feature?

And I disagree with this point. I don't like Facebook for creative work. It doesn't help me quickly grasp and save keywords (seeds) or good ideas as quickly as Twitter because they don't have comment bookmarks. As you know, a lot of valuable information is found in member comments. When I bookmark posts with hundreds or thousands of comments, I spend countless hours reviewing and searching for them again (you might say there's a search feature, but I can't remember its name).
What do you think?
There are other more useful functions to develop and a stability / optimization of FC before adding this kind of functionality. It might be interesting to put an automation between FluentBoard and FluentCommunity for admins / moderators. For example, a like on a comment would generate a task in a FluentBoard table.
AmarokSpirit Agree with that, it's a more complicated functionality at this stage.
My concern would be slowing down the page load. If you had a post with thousands of comments and you added thousands of html anchor links to it, wouldn't that significantly increase the size of the html code for that post?
I would also say that other features have more priority for example:

- Making FC GDPR compliant (big issue!)
- Integration between Fluentbooking for events, coaching etc
- Better UI for the course page section (landing page)
It's not a feature I'd need - I use raindrop.io for that kind of bookmarking. Far easier to manage across multiple platforms.
Im using FC as a community space for specific topics, and having this feature would greatly add to the overall experience, pinning/bookmarking inside jokes or references and what not would massively improve discovery of content that would otherwise be lost or forgotten about.
It would not make sense for facebook for the nature of it, but for a closed or niche community it would make a ton of sense to add. Shahjahan Jewel please consider this, add it to the to roadmap, its these little things that make the experience massively better, even if we wont see it for another year.
Comment linking is already there, just add a bookmark tab to the profile page and give users to make it private or public.

What do I think? I think you don't know what Shahjahan Jewel means by "complicated." I think he means that adding a ton of bells-and-whistles that are valuable only to a niche group can slow down FluentCommunity for everyone.
If you reallllly neeeed this feature, you could probably either code a plugin that will give it to you or pay a dev to build the plugin for you.
But I don't actually see that this feature is all that important anyway. As a community member-user, if I see a comment-amongst-hundreds that I simply must save (which is rare) I can copy-paste into my Notes app and add the comment's URL for reference. YMMV, though. :-)
TL;DR: I agree with Shajahan Jewel. FluentCommunity is lean and therefore fast. I hope they keep it that way.
