Welcome Message Automation

Is there a relevant hook and action where upon a user joins a space to post a welcome message? So as I could do this automatically.

I believe this is also possible with WPAutomator (I currently use this to send a private welcome message to all new users when they sign in for the first time, but I'm sure you could use the same idea to post a welcome message to a space)
