Using FluentCommunity as a comments system
To increase engagement in the community and give more visibility, I'd like to use FluentCommunity posts as a comments sytem, like how WP Discourse enables using Discourse for comments on the site's posts.
Anyone figured out how to achieve this with Fluent Community?
Our comment module is a tiny part of the whole package and it can't be used like WP Discourse.
Shahjahan Jewel Why not? For context, Discourse is a self-hosted community software and it is not even run on top of WordPress. With WP Discourse plugin, it connects both.
So, why can't FluentCommunity which runs on top of WordPress do something like this?

Can you explain/show a bit more? Do you mean for your front end blog posts? What benefit are you looking for?
Do you cross post your blog posts into the community? Do replies to the post in the community count as comments? Or would it be its own thing and only exist within the frontend content?

They have also created a plugin for this purpose: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-discourse/
The idea is to keep all discussions in the site in the community. Having separate discussion or comments section for blog posts is not ideal and creates a disconnect between the blog's comment section and talks going on in the community.
I don't want a comments section for the post in the traditional WordPress sense. I'd like to embed the comment section of crosspost in the community under the blog post.
That's actually really smart and I would love for this to happen. If someone then leaves a comment on a post you could see all his comments in his profile, even those of posts. +100

Sadly Engagement isn't a top priority functionality for FC
