User Login Not Working
I'm setting up a community with the Fluent plugin. I have an existing community that I'll be migrating. I cannot get the login to work at all. I can't invite my current members in until this works. When someone tries to make an account they get locked out. Even when someone did manage to make an account, they were reverted to the wp-admin to login which gets rejected. The user is a subscriber in the backend. I have been trying to fix this for a day and a half. Has anyone else encountered this problem, I'm not sure what to do next.
Check if your security plugin or captcha plugin is blocking the users or not. You may use FluentAuth plugin which works nicely with FluentCommunity.
i have tried everything, yes i've checked the security plugin, disabled plugins. my test accounts don't even register in the back end.
I have never had this problem with FluentCommunity + FluentAuth set to use the custom page. Your problem reminds me more of a security plugin that detects the account as spam or bot and blocks it. Would it be possible?
Could it have something to do with the "sync with WordPress Users"-Setting?
There was a plugin that was interfering with the login process, wp-optimize. Getting it sorted out now!
Margaret ThomasΒ Oh, I am using that plugin, too. Can you please tell me, what setting created the problem? So I know where to look if it happens to me...
Janina FeuchthofenΒ I had to add the club registration page to the exclusions settings in the plugin and a couple of other urls. I turned off the minify setting temporarily. I'll be revisiting tomorrow.
Thank you, that helps :)
