User Account Delete Option
Hello Fluent Community Team,
We are implementing account deletion support to comply with App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v).
Could you please confirm:
- Is there a built-in feature allowing users to delete their own Fluent Community user account?
– If yes, how can this be enabled and configured?

If not available, can you advise on best practices or recommended methods for enabling users to delete their account (including user data)?

Are there any API endpoints, extensions or settings (FluentCRM, FluentForms, etc.) that support self-service account deletion?

There is a plugin called Delete Me that should allow WordPress users to delete their accounts. It has a shortcode that could go in the user profile. I haven't tried it, but I'd start there.

Thank you so much for your suggestion! We are currently testing the Delete Me plugin and it looks like a promising solution for our needs. I really appreciate you taking the time to point us in that direction — your input is a great help!
We’re also investigating whether this plugin might cause any issues with orphaned links or conflicts with Fluent Community itself, just to be sure it’s fully compatible. If anyone else here has tested it in that context, we’d be grateful for your insights as well.
At this moment you can have them request it and you delete the user account which deletes all data with it. (Except CRM data I believe.)
It is a bit annoying though for both sides.

Thanks a lot for your clear and practical feedback. It’s very helpful to know that the manual request approach is still valid and deletes all data except CRM. We’re currently moving forward with this flow while we continue exploring automated options. Your insight is truly appreciated!
