Use FluentCommunity User Avatar Across Entire WordPress Site

Right now, FluentCommunity allows users to upload and display their profile pictures (avatars) inside the community. However, these avatars are not applied globally across the WordPress site. Instead, WordPress still shows the default Gravatar or fallback image in comments, author boxes, or other places where user profiles appear.

I would like to know if FluentCommunity already has a feature to make its user avatars appear across the entire WordPress site, replacing the default WordPress/Gravatar avatars. If not, can someone guide me on how to achieve this?

You should add it to the roadmap. It would be nice to have it update the Fluent CRM profile picture as well, so everything is connectred. https://community.wpmanageninja.com/fluentcommunity-roadmp/#/26/

SeanΒ I was looking at the code last night and I think it does update the Fluent CRM profile picture already. Granted, that was last night and I could be remembering incorrectly (or I read the code wrong).

Thomas OatesΒ Hey Thomas, which code you are refering to! I have found that fluent community does not natively make its user avatars appear across the entire WordPress site, replacing the default WordPress/Gravatar avatars!!! Do you have any solution to this!!!

Thomas Oates

arjun arjunΒ As mentioned in my comment above, I was talking about code that appears to update pictures/avatars in Fluent CRM when they are updated in FluentCommunity. I wasn't talking about updating the default WordPress avatars. In fact, if I'm looking at their correct code in FluentCommunity, the patchProfile function doesn't include any actions or filters to be able to do it when a users updates their FluentCommunity avatar. So, I believe it will require the addition of an action added to the code by the FluentCommunity folks.

Thomas OatesΒ Oh, got it!

This would be very handy feature to have.

Would love to have this. Been manually updating them thus far.
Has someone already added it as a feature request to the roadmap?
