Uncanny Automator - Send Fluent Notification
Built this for our own site and mobile app — figured I'd put it out free in case it's useful to anyone else.
It's an Uncanny Automator add-on that adds a "Send a notification to a specific user" action. When the recipe runs, the user gets a real native FC bell notification — optional bold title, optional click destination (a space, post, course, lesson, or profile), and you pick who shows as the sender.
Things we use it for:
- Course completed → notification with a link to the next module
- Order paid → quick thanks linking to a space
- Welcome flow → friendly nudge with a profile link

Curious what people would build with it.
Great idea and thanks for releasing. This is a great opportunity to ask Shahjahan Jewel if they could allow any URL as a click destination. It would be awesome to be able to send notifications that direct users to a regular WordPress page (one that has FluentCart on it, for example).
James Elrod this requires a paid Uncanny Owl Automator account or works with the free version?
Chris Davis Free is fine but without pro you loose any features actions triggers etc. pro offers to use with it.

so doubled checked it did required pro but I removed the flag for that so will work on free uncanny now
James Elrod Thanks. Looks like you took the smarter path and leveraged Uncanny's UI and triggers for automation so all you had to do was the notification logic. Great thinking.
