The Missing Feature: Inactive Members

I can see one big advantage Skool.com has over fluentcommunity is that you're quickly able to DM inactive members in your community. I don't mean innactive from the email opens/clicks etc. which you can do with FluentCRM, that's easy enough. I hope that Ninja team will fix this becuase its the best way to keep people engaged and paying their monthly membership fees, slowing down membership churn.

You can actually do this with fluent CRM.

Just create a dynamic segment with β€œhasn’t logged in in x days”

Then, automate to your preference.

We used to do this with β€œDuolingo alike” reminders.

You can also customize with things like β€œhas not visited this url etc”.

Just check FCRM automations, and the dev docs in case you need to track custom events.

Jorge de los ReyesΒ please could you confirm this also recognises when they are already logged in and had recent activity?

Sam Robinson WordPress sessions do expire by default.

I checked because I couldn’t remember the exact timing, and I can confirm that the default authentication period is 2 days, or 14 days if the user selects β€œRemember Me”. You can also customize these periods using WordPress’ auth_cookie_expiration filter.

This automation only triggers when someone logs in: not if they’re already logged in.

That said, you could probably check this using the available WordPress hooks or REST API.

As for β€œrecent activity,” it really depends on what you consider activity.

We used to have our own recent-activity system combined with tags. For example: email clicks, logins, page visits, etc. You can customize pretty much everything.

Ultimately, though, it all depends on the goal and the strategy behind it.

P.S. If you want to start fresh, you can always terminate all existing WordPress sessions and force everyone to log in again the next time they access the site.

FluentAuth recently added a one-click feature for exactly that.
