A new era of Fcom has arrived. When authors of publications must compete for attention and earn influence.
Share your experience, research on the new feature, and tell us how you plan to apply it on your website.
Personally, I think itβs a nice way to reduce the βnoiseβ on big communities, so as not to miss what people you appreciate or find insightful are sharing.
A new era of quite niche communities is emerging from the last years. But the difference is that they usually are, commercially, unilaterally moderated.
However, I do not think this will come with the βfull influence packβ of social media, in which, you could probably be gathering an audience, so as to, conduct comercial campaigns. In the community this is not allowed, so, I think this could probably be just a reminder on how old forum sites used to work before the landing of social media techs π
At least, I do not see someone showing off in their audience portfolio: βXXX followers on WMPN communityβ π
