Spam registrations

Since I switched to FC and FluentAuth I am getting a lot of fake (spam) registrations. So people who supposedly want to create an account.

How can I avoid this? I don't see where and how I can add a Recaptcha or Hcapcha or something similar to my fluentcommunity registrationform nor do I see how to add it in FLuentAuth.

All user registrations are protected with email 2FA, so each new user must provide a 2FA code, which is sent via email. So if a real person or a super smart bot creates an account, then you can't prevent that. By the way, if you enable global user registration on WP, that maybe an endpoint that creates the account. You can disable user registration on WP Main Settings and over-write that on FluentCommunity Settings.

Shahjahan JewelΒ Yes, I have 2FA enabled. So none of these registrations succeed. But I don't want that even these initial attempts are made. Because now I see my email bounce rate is going up due to these registration confirmation emails never arriving.

Shahjahan JewelΒ When I disable global user registration in WP and override it in FluentCommunity settings, I can only use the FC Default Signup URL to register users. The FluentAuth signup form shortcode doesn’t work. It displays "User registration is not enabled."

Is there a way to use the FluentAuth signup form shortcode when global user registration shortcode is disabled in WP?

Thanks in advance!

Gotta use some anti spam Plugin. The best i used was Cleantalk. Hopefully fluent will create anti spam plugin one day...

CointacterΒ Thanks for the suggestion. I do have some experience with Cleantalk but was running into some compatibility issues in the past.

I was hoping that this could be solved natively withing fluentauth or fluentcommunity by a challenge such as hcaptcha or something
